TERM 2 ISSUE 4 2017

Riverland Festival of Music

Well done to the choir for their commitment over the first semester. I am especially looking forward to watching your performance Tuesday 1st of August at the Chaffey Theatre, 7:30pm The performance is open to the public, so all families are welcome to attend. If you are thinking about joining choir next year you may like to go along and see what it is all about. Tickets for the performance can be purchased from McCoy Menswear or on line from the Chaffey Theatre.

Reminder that if you are a student participating in the choir you must be at the Chaffey between 7-7:10pm

Please remind students to bring a drink bottle to school. To minimise class distractions a drink bottle on their desk for quick easy access is the best option. Water only please!

Drink Bottle and Fruit Reminder

New Sports Uniform Days

This term Mr Borgas will be teaching PE on a Monday. Sports Uniform days this term therefore will be Mondays and Fridays. On the remainder of the days students are expected to wear their formal uniform unless they have a note.

NEP Meetings Term 3

NEP meetings will occur again this term for those families involved. Please keep your eye’s open over the next few weeks for meeting time forms.

Double Fruit Time Term 3

We will continue our classroom fruit time again this term. Can students please remember to bring one or two pieces of fruit to school with them each day. This term we will trial 2 fruit sessions. Some students are finding that a afternoon snack of fruit (between lunch and the end of the day) is also helpful to keep up their concentration levels. As a class we don’t have a set time in which to eat fruit however, students are welcome and encouraged to snack on their fruit at any point during the morning and afternoon sessions providing they continue with the task at hand.

It’s Back! Woolworths’ Earn and Learn Stickers

Get collecting!! The Woolworths’ earn and learn stickers are back again from Wednesday 26th July until Tuesday 19th September. Please collect them as you go through the register, every sticker earnt is a point for our school to use to purchase resources. You can return your completed sticker sheet to either; the WLPS box at Woolworths Or send them into school
