This assembly was a culmina‐ Ɵon of 13 years schooling for our students, Our Year 12 leave to enter an ever changing world – where in many instances technology is changing the way we work , communicate and learn. Year 12 leave us with a great foundaƟon to achieve and prosper in many facets of life. We wish them all the best in their HSC exams and in whichever direcƟon the fu‐ ture takes them. FAREWELL I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate and thank Mrs Janine Nelson for her undying sup‐ port to the students, staff and community of Coot‐ amundra High School over the past 7 years. Mrs Nel‐ son has worked Ɵrelessly to provide excepƟonal support to students and parents during her Ɵme as Deputy Principal at our school . She leaves us to take up an appointment at Hay War Memorial High as of the beginning of next term. We wish her all the best in her new endeavours. Mrs Nelson will be replaced as Deputy Principal by Mr Dale Rands who joins us from Tamworth High. I also need to acknowledge the 15 years of out‐standing service to the school community of Coot‐amundra, and the Cootamundra community in gen‐eral by Mr Brendan Gale. Mr Gale has been a high quality classroom teacher and has worked relessly to support all our students in their spor ng endeav‐ours, whether it be at school or within the commu‐nity At the beginning of next term Mr Gale talks up the posi on of Head Teacher , PD/H /PE at Young High School.

FROM THE CAREERS DESK

P & C The P & C are asking for dona ons of plants or plant cu ngs and empty n cans (440g size or larger),

bo les and empty plant pots for plan ng for our Open Garden Fundraiser on the 12th of November. We will be doing a garden stall as part of the fund‐raising efforts and would like to start the plan ng process now for good growth before the event. Drop off items at any of the Science rooms or to the Science Assistant.

The Open Garden Fundraiser is aiming to raise mon‐ey for replacing the old basketball courts with a cov‐ered mul ‐purpose court.
