4.2 GENERAL EUT CONDITIONS
According to the manufacturer, the EUT is always supplied by a dedicated power supply and its cable cannot be longer than 30 meters. The EUT is supplied with VDC = 24 V ± 10% (2 wires).
During the tests, the RS485 port of the EUT was connected to an auxiliary PC through a RS485-USB converter and unshielded cable.
During the tests:
o An auxiliary power supply was set to 7 ADC, approximately.
o the “Busbar port” of the EUT was connected to the negative pole of the auxiliary power supply
o The positive pole of the auxiliary power supply was connected to a S3 port of the EUT.
o The DIN1 port was connected to an unshielded cable.
According to the manufacturer, the cables connected to these ports cannot be longer than 3 meters.

During the tests, a SW application, provided by the manufacturer, was running in the auxiliary PC (see photograph 4). Through this application:
o The EUT was in continuous communication with the auxiliary.
o The states of the each port of the EUT was monitored in the auxiliary PC.
The measurement of the S3 port was 7 A. approximately.
The DIN state was ON or OFF depending on if it is short-circuited or open-circuited.

5 TESTS AND RESULTS
5.1 RADIATED EMISSION TEST
5.1.1 Procedure
The test is carried out according to the standard EN 61326-1.
The EUT is measured as a tabletop equipment.
The horizontal distance from the boundary of the EUT and the receiver antenna is three meters.
The receiver antenna scans continuously in height from one meter up to four meters, changing from vertical to horizontal polarization, in order to find maximum meter reading at each test frequency.
The EUT is rotated continuously to find the maximum field strength readings.
The interference is weighted with quasi-peak indication.
The uncertainty measurement, for k = 2, is ± 5 dB.
5.1.2 Conditions
There are not specific EUT conditions for these tests. See clause 4.2.

The EUT is not connected to a DC power distribution network. According to the manufacturer, the EUT is supplied by a dedicated power supply so this test should be not applicable. This test is performed by costumer requirement.

Both lines are measured between the lead and GND reference plane.

5.3.1 Procedure
The test is carried out according to the standard EN 61326-1.
Number of discharges applied at each point: 10.
Single discharges applied and at least one second between discharges.
The EUT is tested as a tabletop equipment.
Only indirect discharges are applied because, according to the manufacturer, the EUT is only accessible to qualified personnel and, during the normal operation, the EUT is located inside a closed box.

5.4 RADIATED IMMUNITY TEST
5.4.1 Procedure
The test is carried out according to the standard EN 61326-1.
The frontal and rear faces of the EUT were tested due to the small size of the EUT.
The transmitter antennas are placed in horizontal and vertical polarization. The distance between the EUT and the transmitter antenna is three meters for the frequencies below 1 GHz and a meter for the upper frequencies.
For frequencies above 1 GHz, the windows test method is used. In this case, the Windows 1, 2 and 3 have been used.

5.6.2 Conditions
Due to the impact of the CDN, the EUT does not work properly. The EUT and the SW are in continuous communication but, the data shown by the SW do not refresh. It is necessary to remove the CDN and, to press Disconnect and Connect buttons in the SW program to verify the correct operation of the EUT.
For this test, during the test, the correct operation of the EUT is verify through the LEDS of the EUT and the command “bus monitor” in the SW.
