Texture Portrait
This project is intended to provide you an opportunity to combine texture and your portrait drawing skills.
Texture is an Element of art- Texture can be real (the artist uses material that have
textures, e.g. wood, sandpaper, leaves, cloth etc.) or implied texture ( the artist create an illusion of texture.)

Texture PortraitRequired pieces
The portrait must be on a 8” x 10” piece of paper.
The portrait must have 2 hand-drawn eyes, a nose and a mouth. Use drawing tutorials, or drawing create while looking at actual facial features. DO NOT DRAW FACIAL FEATURES FROM YOUR MEMORY.
The portrait must have a texture created via texture rubbing,
The portrait must have a texture created via collaged printed textures.
The portrait must have a texture created via real texture.
The portrait must have torn pieces of paper that have been glued together.
The portrait may be �nished o� with color e.g. paint, watercolor, crayon, colored pencils markers if the project feels like it needs something to create a uni�ed e�ect.
