    It separates the Chao Praya river valley from the KhoratPlateau of Northeast Thailand.

    The mountain range is named after the city

    of Phetchabun which is located in the mountains.

    About Central Thailands Climate:

    Central Thailands climate is very tropical. The average of the temperature in

    Thailand ranges from 38C-19C.

    Sometime during May and July, the rainy season begins. This last until October. The

    dry season comes during November and December. When January starts,

    temperatures start to rise and it becomes hot again.

    Religions

    Most of the people in Central Thailand are Buddhist but there

    are other religions in Thailand too.

    Buddhist- About 94% of people are Bhuddist

    Muslim- About 10% of people in are Muslim

    Christians- Only 0.5 percent of people are Christian. Its is

    estimated to be about 351,987 Christians in Thailand.

    There are different Religions too, these are just the main ones.

    This adds up to 104.5% (its over 100%) but these are justestimated/rounded up numbers.

    Dialect

    People in the central region usually speak standard Thai.

    Different people from other regions who have moved

    into Thailand for a job maybe speak Isaan, or a certain

    dialect of where they come from.

    People from/who have spent their lives in the central

    region usually can speak Standard Thai.

    Dance

    The Teut-Teung Dance is a danceinvolved with drums. This dance is

    spread all over the country to

    accompany the parades. It is said

    that this music and dance was

    created by some music teachers.

    The Sri -Nuan Dance is a

    commonly used dance. The Thai's

    love the music because the soundis very sweet and it shows the

    sweetness of the Thai girls.
