Ireton CRC will be serving Dinner at The Banquet on Wednesday, November 16 at 6:00pm.  We will need 6-8 volunteers to help prepare the meal. The food is ordered by the banquet and will cost between $700.00 and $1000.00. They are expecting around 400 quests. For our dinner servers (who should be there by 5:15) we will need around 35 to 40 helpers. Please sign up this Sunday, Nov. 6, they are asking the sheet to be faxed to the banquet one week in advance. There are limited jobs for children under the age of 13 but all are welcome to come with adult supervision.

…Open toed shoes or flip flops, tank tops, short shorts are not accepted attire. This is a project approved by council last year as a mission project, enabling our young people to serve as well. Last year we had a great turnout and hoping for another great turnout this year.  Thanks in advance for your participation.

Seeking Volunteers for Living Nativity for the Ireton and surrounding communities on Sunday, December 11 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. We will need actors (non-speaking roles, minimal prep), volunteers to help organize people as they head out on their journey, volunteers to help in the Community Center serving cookies, apple cider and hot chocolate, volunteers to make the cookies, people to allow us to borrow hay bales, small animals (sheep, donkey, etc.) and a tractor (or the like) & trailer for hay rides and more. If you are interested in participating in this special event in any way, please talk to Pamela Fedders, Angela Ten Napel or Valerie Westergard for more details by November 13.
