The 14th Annual…Pumpkins in the Park 5k Run/Walk & Kids Pumpkin Dash
Presented by the Port Washington-Saukville Health and Physical Education Department
This event encourages students and community to engage in activity in a fun and exciting environment supported by PWSSD staff, family and friends. There will be a running clock at the finish line. No official
times or awards will be kept. WHEN: THIS Thursday October 3, 2019
LOCATION: Port Washington High School Track TIME: 4:15pm Same day registration and race packet pick -up 4:45pm Pictures by school group at designated locations 5:00pm Warm-ups begin 5:15pm Kids Pumpkin Dash - 1 lap (recommended by 6 and under) 5:30pm Kids Pumpkin Run - 2 laps 5:45pm Pumpkin Run/Walk Begins (strollers welcome)

If all orders were placed online, you do not need to return anything. Pick-up will take place on Monday, November 11th from 3:30pm to 5:30pm in the Multi-Purpose Room. a Healthy Start to the School Year!” Keep an eye out for this week’s post, and

The Parent Association of Lincoln School is hosting another
Silent Auction Fundraiser on November 7th.
Our goal is to raise $5,000 to support our annual budget. (Please visit our website, lespals.org/budget.html, to view the recently approved budget and
learn about all the school programs, purchases and initiatives that are supported by the budget).
We need YOU to help make our Silent Auction a success!
Please consider helping in the following ways:
✓ Volunteer to be on the Silent Auction Committee.
✓ Become a part of the Collaborative Art Community which creates the awesome
Classroom Artwork.
✓ Help distribute donation letters to local businesses.
✓ Consider donating goods or services. Check with friends, family, neighbors, and business associates!
Examples: Gift Certificates, Dessert of the Month, Music Lessons, Rounds of Golf, Yard Work, Hotel Accommodations, Themed Gift Baskets, Dinner for Two, Autographed Memorabilia, New Electronics, Sports Tickets, Auto Detailing, Movie Tickets…Anything you can think of!

Thomas Jefferson Middle School Chess Tournament

Location: 1403 North Holden Street Port Washington, WI 53074
Format: K-4, K-8, & K-12 divisions, 5 or 6 rounds, G30. All divisions Wisconsin rated.
Awards: K-4: 3 team trophies; individual trophies to top 3 players; and medals to all. K-8: 3 team trophies; individual trophies to top 3 players; and medals to all. K-12 2 team trophies; individual trophies to top 3 players; and medals to all. Award Ceremony around 3:30 or 4:00 pm if not before.
Entry: $15 per player for advance registration, $20 on-site registration.
Check-in from 8:00 to 8:30. Round 1 begins close to 9:00. Onsite registration for round 1 ends at 8:15. Pre-registrants arriving after 8:30 and on site registrations arriving after 8:15 can enter the tournament round 2. Please check in as early as possible. For advance registration, register online at www.wisconsinscholasticchess.org before midnight on Oct. 17th. Registration fee will be paid at the tournament. Make checks payable to Thomas Jefferson Middle School.
Lunch: Available for purchase on-site.
Supervision: At least one designated adult supervisor must be present at all times during the tournament to oversee your school’s team, or individual participants who are in K through 8th grade.
