Our Ram Band had an amazing experience during the winter break in Atlanta. Their trip got off to a questionable start

with a blowout on their charter bus, but everything was uphill from there.

From dining at the historical Varsity to cheering on the Red Knight at the Medieval Times dinner show, the kids had a

variety of memorable activities during the trip.

The Concert Band and Jazz Band both performed for a panel of judges

from three universities. Both groups received First Place in Division 2 (based on

school population). There were eight states represented at these events. The

Jazz Band received the highest score of any school in any of the judged areas:

Concert, Jazz, Field Show and Parade.

Four Jazz students were recognized for outstanding musicianship (the

only individual performers recognized at all!): Donald Johnson, Ashley Luke and

Brandon Shaner. Carlmalita Parker was given a plaque for being the Out-

standing soloist.

Upon entering the Georgia Dome, the Ram band was also awarded a

First Place trophy for marching in the Peach Parade.

Ms. Hutchinson would like to thank everyone who helped her get our students there!

The 2014 WCHS Ram Yearbook

took second place in the Ameri-

can Scholastic Press Associa-

tion's fall yearbook competition.

The yearbook scored high in ar-

eas of content presentation, gen-

eral page design, general photog-

raphy, publication structure, and

creativity. Congratulations to Edi-

tor Daniel Russell and the entire

staff for their hard work!

On December 17, 2014, the

Work-Based Learning Program at

Worth County High School deliv-

ered supplies to Best Friends

Humane Society. The students

brought in items during Decem-

ber to help the shelter. The stu-

dents pictured are Zach Kennedy,

tion to you. At any time, you may ask:

Whether the teacher met state qualifications and certification requirements for the grade level and subject he/she is teaching,

Whether the teacher received an emergency or conditional certificate through which state qualifications were waived, and

What undergraduate or graduate degrees the teacher holds, including graduate certificates and additional degrees, and ma-
