GREETINGS,As Mayor of the City of Atlanta, I am pleased to welcome you to the Airport Area Chamber of Commerce 2016 Annual Meeting and the ATLNext Update!

As the world’s busiest and most efficient airport, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is the economic engine for the City of Atlanta, the State of Georgia and the entire Southeast. The multi-billion-dollar economic impact of the Airport will be enhanced even further with the collaboration, support and ideas offered by Aerotropolis Atlanta and the Airport Area Chamber of Commerce. This annual meeting provides an opportunity for that partnership to continue and thrive. Hartsfield-Jackson’s top priorities are safety and security, operational efficiency, job creation and, of course, its capital improvement program ATLNext. As you hear more about our exciting expansion plans from interim Airport General Manager Roosevelt Council Jr., I hope you will offer your feedback and questions on our 20-year initiative to re-imagine and improve our region and state’s biggest asset.

On behalf of Hartsfield-Jackson Airport and the entire City of Atlanta, I want to thank you for your interest and support. Please accept my best wishes for a productive and memorable annual meeting.

Sincerely,

Mayor Kasim Reed
