Civil Wedding Ceremonies and Partnerships The Abbey Hotel, Golf & Spa is registered to hold Civil Marriages in the Henley In Arden Suite for up to a maximum of 110 guests.

Ceremonies can be conducted between 8am & 6pm All bookings are subject to the availability of the registrar. General rules and booking conditions on civil ceremonies apply As soon as you have made provisional arrangements with the hotel, you must contact the Superintendent Registrar to confirm your booking. The fee applicable for the attendance of the Registration service staff has been set out by Worcestershire County Council and must be paid to them direct.

Wedding Booking Procedure
We have attempted to make our booking procedures for weddings and receptions as straight forward as possible and list below the general order of events prior to your wedding day. If you have any questions concerning procedure then please contact our wedding Co-ordinator. HOW TO BOOK You are most welcome to visit the hotel and discuss you personal requirements with our dedicated wedding co-ordinator. A provisional booking can be made and will be held for a period of seven working days, pending payment of the appropriate non-refundable deposit AVAILABILITY All bookings are subject to availability, certain packages are not available on Saturdays falling between May to September inclusive where we will require minimum numbers of 70 for the day and 110 guests for the evening. DEPOSIT & PAYMENT A non refundable deposit of £1000.00 is payable within seven days of the provisional booking. Following your six month appointment a further payment of £1000.00 is payable. (Deposits/pre payments are non-refundable/non exchangeable; the deposit/pre payment will be deducted from the final balance). The final account will be presented immediately following your final appointment, which is usually one month prior to your wedding day. Final payment then becomes due immediately on receipt of this invoice. Failure to pay the full amount prior to your wedding day may result in cancellation by The Abbey Hotel, Golf & Country Club. ENTERTAINMENT & DETAILS We can arrange a professional disco, karaoke and more! Any entertainment you organise yourself must have the relevant certification We regret we do not allow guests to provide their own alcohol. CANCELLATION TERMS If you cancel a booking we may have difficulty rebooking the space. Therefore, if you cancel the event we will keep all of the deposit/pre-payment made in relation to costs incurred. We will endeavour to re-sell any cancelled space thus reducing the cancellation fee applicable less any costs incurred. Booking date till 1 month prior to the event Forfeit any pre-payment made Less than 1 month prior to the event 100% of the total booking value (based on minimum contracted numbers) APPOINTMENT PROCEDURE Once you have confirmed your wedding date we will send you a contract detailing your booking. Six months prior to your wedding date you are required to book an appointment with our wedding co-ordinator to discuss initial details of your day followed by a second appointment approximately one month prior to your wedding day to finalise all details. Of course we are always available should you have any questions - WRITTEN QUOTATIONS ARE AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST, ALL PRICES QUOTED INCLUDE VAT AT THE CURRENT RATE OF 20.00% AND ARE VALID FROM JAN 2015 TO DEC 2015 - THE HOTEL RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CHANGE ANY PRICE DUE TO CIRCUMSTANCES OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL.
