  • The Mormon (they are cultural in the sense they are raised in that environment like Baptists) believes that going to Church once a week is all that is necessary to obtain the celestial kingdom.Or they just want to enjoy their lives in Babylon

(Gentile society) and secretly harbor the belief that at least they will get the terrestrial level (if they havent denied the Holy Ghost). The leadership of the Church have committed the

unpardonable sin by giving Negroes the Priesthood when they know full well that Brigham Young opposed it and explicitly said what the consequences would be if the race of Cain were allowed to receive the Priesthood.

  • Brigham Young, one of the greatest prophets of all time said:

"Let this Church which is called the Kingdom of God on earth. We will summons the First Presidency, the Twelve, the High Council, the Bishopric, and all the Elders of Israel, suppose we summons them to appear here, and here declare that it is right to mingle our seed with the black race of Cain, that they shall come in with us, and be partakers with us, of all the blessings that God has given to us. On that very day and hour that we should do so, the Priesthood is taken from this church and kingdom, and God leaves us to our fate. The moment we consent to mingle with the seed of Cain, the church must (eventually) go to destruction, and we should receive the curse which has been placed upon the seed of Cain, and never more be numbered with the children of Adam, who are heirs to the Priesthood, until that curse be removed.Contd

  • What the Gentiles are doing we are consenting to do. What we are trying to do today is to make the Negro equal with us in all our privilege. My voice shall be against it all the day long. I shall not consent for one moment. I will call them a counsel. I say I will not consent for one moment for you to lay a plan to bring a curse upon this people. It shall not be while I am here.(Brigham Young Addresses, Ms d 1234, Box 48, folder 3,

dated Feb. 5, 1852, located in the LDS Church Historical Dept., SLC, Utah; also Teachings of Brigham Young, Collier, ed., pp. 45, 46)

  • As any student of Mormonism knows, the decision to ordain blacks the Priesthood came about in June of 1978 when President Spencer Kimball reversed the ban. Very few know what motivated that move.

The common view for the reversal is that because the temple built in Brazil at the time was supported in large part by mulattos, the Mormons felt a (liberal) guilt trip that they could not be more than baptized.

They actually think that people could be duped into believing a doctrine revealed from the inception of the Church in 1829 could just be overturned because the First Presidency had some guilt trip? Thats flabbergasting!

LDS Church Extends Priesthoodto all worthy male members

The First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints today released the following statement:

He has heard our prayers, and by revelation has confirmed that the long- promised day has come when every faithful, worthy man in the church may receive the holy priesthood, with power to exercise its divine authority, and enjoy with his loved ones every blessing that flows therefrom, including the blessings of the temple. Accordingly, all worthy male members of the church may be ordained to the priesthood without regard for race or color. Priesthood leaders are instructed to follow the policy of carefully interviewing all candidates for ordination to either the Aaronic or Melchizedek Priesthood to insure that they meet the established standards for worthiness.

Friday's announcement said all worthy male members of the church may be ordained to its priesthood "without regard to race or color."

  • Heres what was the real impetus that enforced the change:

Then President Jimmy Carter was aspiring to winthe Nobel Peace Prize so he believed resolving the Negro Priesthood issue would win him that award. So he threatened to use the IRS to take away the Mormons tax exempt status so they folded under the pressure and released a so called revelation that was not Thus Saith the Lord.

It was not even voted on by the members of the Church! This was in fulfillment of Brigham Youngs prophesy of the apostasy of the Mormons.

  • The Priesthood was taken from the Church in fulfillment of Brigham Youngs prophesy.Around the time after the ban was lifted, John Singer pulled his kids out of public school because they were teaching kids to mix with blacks and so the police came out in front of his house and shot him in his back as he was walking back up to his house after their confrontation. When the Priesthood was restored to the hands of Joseph Smith, it was promised that the Priesthood would never be taken again.

  • But the Mormons believe that their Church is invincible and their leaders cannot lead them astray. This cocky corrupt attitude is in fulfillment of the Book of Mormon in (2 Ne 28:12-28):

12 Because of pride, and because of false teachers, and false doctrine, their churches have become corrupted, and their churches are lifted up; because of pride they are puffed up.13 They rob the poor because of their fine sanctuaries; they rob

the poor because of their fine clothing; and they persecute the meek and the poor in heart, because in their pride they are puffed up.14 They wear stiff necks and high heads; yea, and because of

pride, and wickedness, and abominations, and whoredoms, they have all gone astray save it be a few, who are the humble followers of Christ; nevertheless, they are led, that in many instances they do err because they are taught by the precepts of men.15 O the wise, and the learned, and the rich, that are puffed up in the pride of their hearts, and all those who preach false doctrines, and all those who commit whoredoms, and pervert the right way of the Lord, wo, wo, wo be unto them, saith the Lord God Almighty, for they shall be thrust down to hell!

  • 20 For behold, at that day shall he rage in the hearts of the children of men, and stir them up to anger against that which is good.21 And others will he pacify, and lull them away into carnal security, that they will say: All is well in Zion; yea, Zion prospereth, all is well--and thus the devil cheateth their souls, and leadeth them away carefully down to hell.22 And behold, others he flattereth away, and telleth them there is no hell; and he saith unto them: I am no devil, for there is none--and thus he whispereth in their ears, until he grasps them with his awful chains, from whence there is no deliverance.23 Yea, they are grasped with death, and hell; and death, and hell, and the devil, and all that have been seized therewith must stand before the throne of God, and be judged according to their works, from whence they must go into the place prepared for them, even a lake of fire and brimstone, which is endless torment.24 Therefore, wo be unto him that is at ease in Zion!25 Wo be unto him that crieth: All is well!

  • 26 Yea, wo be unto him that hearkeneth unto the precepts of men, and denieth the power of God, and the gift of the Holy Ghost!27 Yea, wo be unto him that saith: We have received, and we need no more!28 And in fine, wo unto all those who tremble, and are angry because of the truth of God! For behold, he that is built upon the rock receiveth it with gladness; and he that is built upon a sandy foundation trembleth lest he shall fall.

  • Some liars say that the ban on blacks receiving the Priesthood was a fabrication by Brigham Young after he became President. But the records show that the Prophet Joseph Smith revealed it to the Church from the very beginning.

In 1879 Zebedee Coltrin related to a small group of Priesthood leaders that Brother Joseph had told him in 1834 that "the Spirit of the Lord saith the Negro has no right nor cannot hold the Priesthood."(Nuttall Journal 1:293)

For example, on January 2, 1843, Joseph went to a Mr. Sellars' with Elders Hyde and Richards. Elder Hyde inquired about the situation of the Negro, and the Prophet answered him:Had I anything to do with the Negro, I would confine them by strict law to their own species, and put them on a national equalization. (TPJS, p. 270)

  • In after years when I became acquainted with Joseph myself in the Far West, about the year 1838, I received from Brother Joseph substantially the same instructions. It was on my application to him, what should be done with the Negro in the South, as I was preaching to them. He said I could baptize them by consent of their masters, but not to confer the [204] Priesthood upon them. (The Church and the Negroid as quoted in Mormonism and the Negro, Stewart, p. 11)

The question arises from time to time in regard to the Negro race and the Priesthood. . . . It is true that the Negro race is barred from holding the Priesthood, and this has always been the case. The Prophet Joseph Smith taught this doctrine. . . . (Imp. Era 27:564)

  • The scriptures clearly show that the Negroes have always been separated from the Priesthood.

And Enoch also behold the residue of the people which were the sons of Adam; and they were a mixture of all the seed of Adam save it was the seed of Cain, for the seed of Cain were black and had not place among them. Moses 7:22

And it came to pass that Enoch continued to call upon all the people, save it were the people of Canaan to repent; Moses 7:12

  • 23 The land of Egypt being first discovered by a woman, who was the daughter of Ham, and the daughter of Egyptus, which in the Chaldean signifies Egypt, which signifies that which is forbidden;24 When this woman discovered the land it was under water, who

afterward settled her sons in it; and thus, from Ham, sprang that race which preserved the curse in the land.25 Now the first government of Egypt was established by Pharaoh,

the eldest son of Egyptus, the daughter of Ham, and it was after the manner of the government of Ham, which was patriarchal.26 Pharaoh, being a righteous man, established his kingdom and

judged his people wisely and justly all his days, seeking earnestly to imitate that order established by the fathers in the first generations, in the days of the first patriarchal reign, even in the reign of Adam, and also of Noah, his father, who blessed him with the blessings of the earth, and with the blessings of wisdom, but cursed him as pertaining to the Priesthood.27 Now, Pharaoh being of that lineage by which he could not have

    the right of Priesthood, notwithstanding the Pharaohs would fain claim it from Noah, through Ham, therefore my father was led away by their idolatry;

    (Abr 1:23-27)

  • At the time when Esau saw that Isaac had blessed Jacob, and had commanded him, saying, Thou shalt not take a wife from amongst the daughters of Canaan, and that the daughters of Canaan were bad in the sight of Isaac and Rebecca..."Book of Jasher 29:4.

Verily thus saith the Lord God unto you, O Israel, that ye be a separate and distinct people unto me and that ye not mingle your seed with the seed of Cain and that ye cast them out from my House that mine house be no more defiled and polluted, even in these things. For it is not my will, saith the Lord, that Cain come in with you and partake with you of your blessings, O Israel, until the redemption of the earth and until all the other sons and daughters of Adam have received of their blessings. For this hath been my law, and shall be, saith the Lord, throughout all eternity. And whosoever knowingly shall transgress against this law, saith the lord, shall receive the curse thereof upon him and upon his posterity forever. And this is according to the curse which I the Lord God did put upon Ham and his seed through the mouth of my servant Noah, your Father. Revelations of Jesus Christ, Section 2

  • Bruce McConkie supported this doctrine:Negroes in this life are denied the priesthood; under no circumstances can they hold this delegation of authority from the Almighty. It is the Lord's doing, is based on his eternal laws of justice, and grows out of the lack of spiritual valiance of those concerned in their first estate. (Mormon Doctrine, pp. 527-28)

On September 6, 1977, President Spencer W. Kimball in a sermon at BYU, stated that "The Gospel is made up of absolute truths that do not change regardless of contrary opinions or beliefs of men." (Des. [209] News, Sept. 10, 1977)
