The thing I can’t understand about
people with dogs is why they allow them
to bark at night
One thing that annoys me is when my neighbors have loud parties late at
night
Something that really bothers me is people who talk
loudly during a movie
ClausesIt’s the smallest grammatical unit that can express a complete idea.A clause can be Independent: It could stand as a sentence by itself. It contains a subject and a predicate.
Dependent: It can’t stand as a sentence since it must be used together with a independent clause in the same sentence
Dependent Clauses
Three types:
Adjective Clause
Adverb Clause
Noun Clause --- It can be used as a noun. (That – whether – who – why – whom – what – how – when – whoever – where – whomever)
