PITCH – “The Art of the Game” MISSION STATEMENT Presented as a 3 day festival PITCH is a cultural showcase of the Beautiful Game. Our creatively assembled narrative incorporating - Camera, Canvas, Camaraderie, Sound and Style.
OVERVIEW
Driven by a deepening and fervent passion football is on the march across North America. Co-existing is an overriding desire to better understand the globally entrenched culture we strongly associate with the Beautiful Game.
Set for its Montreal launch in Fall 2013 PITCH is aimed at this rapidly growing football fascinated audience.
Film screenings, art installations, exhibits and live music PITCH will be a celebration to the Beautiful Game. Embracing a free spirit and an independent philosophy PITCH is an entirely unique festival initiative.

MUSICAL PITCH Ever since the Beatles were asked if they
supported Liverpool or Everton and
George Harrison replied,

prefer the other 1’ Football and Music
have been linked at the hip.
PITCH music content will include a
live headline act on Day 3.
Throughout the 3-days a variety of
highly regarded DJ’s will ensure the
vibe remains constant.

exploding. Earlier this summer
the very 1st exhibition dedicated
exclusively to the Beautiful
Game took place in London.

PITCH - STYLE + CULTURE From George Best to David Beckham each new football generation provides world football with a fashion icon. For decades style conscious supporters have influenced the dress code of the terraces and played a prominent role in the development of football culture away from the field of play.

VENUE & LOCATION
Nestled in a vibrant neighbourhood that is not dissimilar to the
thoroughfares which are synonymous with the immediate
surroundings of football stadiums the world over – the century
old Corona Theatre was built originally to screen silent movies.
Following extensive renovations
undertaken by Evenko, the
theatre was re-launched as the
Virgin Mobile Corona theatre in
December 2012.
With a capacity of 800,
the venue is primarily utilized as
a much sought after concert
venue.
