Yulis Basketball Tournament

The Basketball Tournament in memory of Itai Yulis OBM is an important Gush Katif tradition, currently marking its 24th year!This summer, commemorating ten years since the destruction of Gush Katif, we plan a special day for the dispersed people of Gush Katif, culminating with this unique tournament. COST: $10,000.00 The 1st basketball

tournament in memory of Itai. Ganei Tal, Gush Katif (1993).

In the following years, the basketball tournament moved to the Gush Katif sports hall. Professional judges were

appointed, rules were set and the youth became more involved.

Following the withdrawal from Gaza, the basketball tournament continued. Bigger than ever! Our spirit wasn’t broken! We were honored to play in the Jerusalem stadium with special guest Tal Brody.

This summer we'll be commemorating a decade since the Aug. 2005 Disengagement Plan which saw Gush Katif destroyed and it's residents dispersed. We'd be honored to have you partner with us to ensure that this important Gush Katif tradition lives on!
