Preface

Known simply as the “Beltane Script” after its introduction in Beltane of 1988 to Coven Scathach. The script is a result of years of development, synthesis and research into the Western Occult tradition. Returning to the older prior placement of fire to the East representing Wands and the fire signs, water to the South representing cups and water signs, Air to the West representing Swords and Air signs, finally placing Earth to the North representing Pentacles and earth signs.

The script unifies the upper outer world to the lower inner world, truly microcosm to macrocosm. Connecting the magic circle to the Heavens.

Used originally as an alternate to the Alexandrian based script which was considered oath-bound. What was discovered afterward was that the Beltane script was simply magickal, powerful and incredibly versatile falling in line with already established Zodiac and the Tarot, but also the Kabbalistic systems that was slowly gaining popularity.
