Message of the Chancellor of the University of Mohaghegh Ardabili

As academicians, we are already blessed with the creative and transcending views of the youth in the universities and this event provides a yet more pluralistic view of the youth in that it is attended by several young researchers form a variety of contexts. In the meantime, the focus, on Caucasus and its history, is a regional one which interests and affects all of us. Being charming from a dual and even multiple perspectives, we value the event as an exceptional opportunity to listen, discuss, share and interact.

On behalf of our academic community, I welcome all our revered visitors from different parts of the Caucasus region and respect the concern the CUA initial leaders had felt to establish the association and the mission they are following to promote regional solutions to the regional challenges with the help of predominantly young views.

Our history, culture and the young’s examination of them, paves the way for a better understanding of the current confusing situation in the world and the region and is hoped to promote still more convergence among the apparently different nations.

I wish all the participants a sweet stay in Ardabil and I hope all papers presented add to the overall theme of the symposium. I do appreciate all those who helped make this event a possibility.

Message of the Head of Caucasus Universities Association

Being a Woman in Middle East: A Critical Analysis of “Sabır Taşı” Novel

Sevda Geçen1

Abstract

Woman, who carries in her womb the nucleus of life, and who is the symbol of continuity, had

hitherto lived in darkness imposed by the failure to be deemed an individual in a framework dominated by various mechanisms of the authority that dominates oriental societies. The social gender perception which determines how men and women should behave in society is laden with

strict and hard to overcome restrictions imbedded in socio-cultural patterns. In Middle Eastern societies, the division of labor imposed by social gender provides men with a relatively free and more comfortable lifestyle, while imprisoning women in a narrow and inflexible one. The inability to

assert oneself as a free individual reduces women to the position of a tool to implement the decisions men make with respect to their lives. Furthermore, the problems characterizing the region certainly

do not help with the difficulties imposed by social norms. Atiq Rahimi’s novel The Patience Stone is the tale of both the biological and ontological struggle for existence of a woman facing the problems of silencing, degradation, and humiliation in the midst of a war in Afghanistan, a land comparable to

Middle Eastern countries in cultural terms, despite being located geographically in Central Asia. The study reviews the existential problems women live through in the shadow of social patterns imposed, with reference to the thematic paradigm dominating the background.

Aslıhan Aytaç1

Abstract

History deals with the socio-cultural, political, economic relationships of a nation within itself and with other nations, lasting for centuries, in the context of time and place. The purpose of history is to

create an awareness by creating an understanding of history for the nation. The historical awareness allows a nation to make inferences from its past experiences and to build its future on a more solid foundation. The historical awareness is built with a mother tongue, religion, national conscience,

memories of space and culture. This awareness is required for making sense of the current political and social events. Being one of the important writers of Kyrgyz literature, Tölögön Kasımbekov exposits the importance of historical awareness by drawing a map of the social, cultural and political

panorama of the time the events take place. "Baskın" is a historical novel that covers the years between 1859 and 1898, which reflects the historical realities, and it is an expression of rebellion. The novel uses the cultural aspects and folkloric elements of Turkish society skillfully. It is quite a

rich and remarkable novel in terms of historical awareness, as the time and space complements with each other in it. The writer tries to demonstrate with the characters in the novel that individuals or nations with a historical awareness can take necessary measures against possible internal and

external dangers with the help of their gained historic experience. In this study, the aspects that constitute the novel "Baskın" of Tölögön Kasımbekov were examined under titles of mother tongue,

self-awareness, cultural memory objects and places, and the aspects that highlight the historical awareness of the novel was evaluated.

Seçkin Sarpkaya1

Abstract

INVOCATION AS AN ESTHETICS DYNAMIC İn SHAH HATÂYÎ’S POETRY)

Ahmet KESKİN1

Abstract

Hatâyî’nin şiirlerinde niyazın hem bir içerik ve üslup ögesi hem de temel estetik unsuru olarak nasıl kullanıldığı konusu çözümlenmiştir (Shah Hatayî, was born in Erdebil in1487, is a personage who has great impact on Turkish history, sufistic culture and literature. It drew attention, niyaz, has an superb semantic field in Turkish sufistic culture, like “prayers”, “invocation”, “pay respecst” etc, underpins the poets and esthetics of Hatâyî. In this direction, best part of the Hatâyî’s esthetics and poetry has the characteristics of invocation. In Hatâyî’s poetry, in addition to the variety İslamic almighties, saints and sufis, we can see that Hatâyî supplicates to especially Allah, Muhammed and Ali, who are the three basics of the Islamic philosophy and Turkish sufistic culture. In this sense, key feature of the Hatâyî’s poetry is being written in the invocation style and this invocation style is the main esthetics of this structure. In this paper it has evaluated the Hatâyî’s poetry in the context of the “invocation”. How invocation used as an element of content and style, also as an esthetics element in the poetry of Hatâyî, was analyzed) .

BİREYİN İLETİŞİM YOKSUNLUĞUNDAN TOPLUMSAL SOYUTLANMIŞLIĞINA SOSYAL SAPMA ANLATILARI: CELÂL-İ ÂL-İ

AHMED’İN NUN VE’L-KALEM ADLI ROMANI

Emrah SEFEROĞLU1

Abstract

Celâl-i Âl-i Ahmed bireysel ve toplumsal iletişimsizliği, çatışmaları anlatılarının temel ekseninde kurgulayan bir sanatkârdır. Onun

Her toplumda, kültürce normal’in sınırı olarak belirtilen çizgiyi aşan bireysel davranışlara/ sapmalara rastlanılır.

Bu bildiride, eserlerinde insanın yaşama olgusunu sorgulayan Celâl-i Âl-i Ahmed Nun Ve’l-Kalem adlı romanı Melvin

Seeman’ın yabancılaşma kuramı ışığında yabancı olma göstergeleri ve karakterlerin yabancılaşma süreçleri tespit edilecektir. Bireye karşı toplum ve topluma karşı bireyin konumu bağlamında kendi

ol (a) mayan bireyin çaresizliği, iletişim yoksunluğunda toplumdan dışlanmışlığı, toplum-insan-var olma üçgeninde ele alınarak değişen dünyanın değiş (e) meyen bireyine dikkat çekilecektir.

ÖZE DÖNÜŞ GÖSTERGELERİ: ŞEHRİYAR’IN HEYDERBABA’YA SELAM ŞİİRİ

Aysel OSOYDAN1

Abstract

REFLECTED IMAGE OF GEOGRAPHY ON POETRY: CAUSCASUS IN MIKAIL MUSFIK’S POEMS

Hakan ÇALIK1

Abstract

Along with being a fate that determines the realm of existence of human beings, geography is also a constituent element that forms their cultural recollection. For a poet who intuits, recognizes and reads this cultural recollection, which is prepared for existence, with an artistic sensitivity, space lies beyond the physical location on which life is lived. For the poets, moreover, who read the suppressive constituents of the space where they live and transfer these constituents into their verses, space is a treasure of secrets in which the meanings are buried hollowly. Geography or space which is a component of poetry is one of the factors that are the resources or reasons of formation of emotions, dreams and ideas of a person, especially of a poet. For poets, geography carries certain meanings such as a source of inspiration, a factor of description, and an indicator of cultural identity. Poets weave their artistic, spiritual and ideal worlds through their attitudes in the face of nature, facts of nature and imprints that they obtained through nature which is the widest space that they come across to. In this context, geography and sensitivity towards nature attract the attention in poetry of Mikail Musfik who is one of the leading names of modern Azerbaijani poetry. For Musfik who had grown up in an environment which is in close touch with the nature, nature is one of the main sources. Within the scope of this study, Musfik’s viewpoint towards Caucasian Geography in his poems will be analyzed through a historical perspective. By political means, Caucasian Geography is divided into two as North and South Caucasus. This geography, due to the fact that it is located on intersection point of east-west and North-south migratory routes due to its position, was exposed to several wars, occupations and invasions since ancient times and till today. Within this historical phase, Southwestern Caucasus region (The State of Tbilisi) becomes one of the residential areas of Azerbaijani community. Therefore, life and culture of Azerbaijani people who live there are discoursed within the scope of literary works of Azerbaijani poets and authors. Mikail Musfik, moreover, embraces the cultural and natural properties of Caucasian Geography in his two poems titled as “Qafqaz” and “Şen Tiflis” despite being by restricted means.

AN ANALYSIS ON THE CONCEPTS OF MIRTH AND BIRTH IN THE POETRY OFÖRFÎ

Sema ORUÇ1

Abstract

In the poetry of 16th-century Iranian poet Örfî, the concepts of mirth and birth are the most

important of the sympathetic bonds leading the being into a dynamic existence. Since existence means to say yes to the life and no to the death, there is a strong relationship between the existence of being and the pleasure principle. Mirth and birth is a humanitarian and universal situation

establishing meaningful and positive unities with life. Within the core of the wine element in the Divan poetry, there is this heart-warming and refreshing mirth pushing the being toward life (come

into existence) . Coming into existence starts with being mirthful and embracing life. Knowing this, the great poet Örfî describes mirth as the crown of humanity in his Rubaies. The expression of drinking wine, frequently used in his poetry, is the first step of rebirth and mirth. Along with the

exuberantly pessimistic worldview of the Orient, this full of spirit, optimistic attitude of Örfî has always been greeted with astonishment by the Eastern people. This study will try to shed light upon the content of two significant images of mirth and birth inviting the being to the homeland of

existence in the poetry of Örfî.

AN EVALUATION ON POEMS OF HATAYÎ IN CÖNK 6706 REGISTERED IN SIVAS - ZIYA BEY LIBRARY

Taha Tuna Kaya1

Abstract

Cönks which can be shortly described as personal poetry notebooks are the main sources of Turkish

folk literature, specifically Turkish minstrelsy tradition. They have a significant role in studies of researchers on folk literature in terms of two reasons: including unknown poems by known, famous folk poets, and having some poems by unknown poets. By this way, cönks present original poems or

Türkiye’de “Öteki” ve “Yerli” Bir Halk Olarak Karaçay-Balkarlar

Ömer Temizkan1

Abstract

Relations between Iran and South Caucasus Countries in the post-Sanctions Era: Energy and Transportation Corridors

Özge Nur Öğütçü1

Abstract

South Caucasus is an important region for many actors with its location, as being the cross-road of

the historical Silk Road project, and therefore the region witnesses competition among particularly regional actors. Having a long history under the both Ottoman and Persian Empires, all the three countries remain as connectors among Eastern and Western Markets; as well as Iranian and Russian

markets. All the three countries in the South Caucasus show interest in engaging with Iran for new Transport and energy projects in the post-sanctions era. Armenia and Iran already have close ties but strong existence of Russia in the Armenian markets seems challenging for Iran; Georgia and Iran

recently re-establishing ties and cooperation is on the agenda of the both countries for the future projects; Azerbaijan and Iran trying to overcome the challenges of the complicated relations they

have built so far. The paper will examine the balances and opportunities for South Caucasus countries that emerged in the post-sanctions era in the light of current developments.

Iran’s Energy and Security Policy Towards its Immediate Neighborhood: The Case of Iraq and South Caucasus

Aslan Yavuz Şir1 and Bilgay Duman2

Abstract

With the lifting of the sanctions, Iran has emerged as a potential key country in regional politics. Especially the forming of new relations with Iraq brought about new areas of cooperation such as

energy and fight against radicalism. This is also true considering that South Caucasus region also presents new opportunities for the emergence of new regional security and energy relations. This study will analyze how and to what degree these new areas of collaboration can play an effect on the

future security relations in Iran’s relations with Iraq and its immediate neighborhood in the South Caucasus. We argue that the changing dynamics of Iran’s approach towards Iraq and South Caucasus will create new potential areas of cooperation, which will lay the basis for a functional approach

towards transforming mutual security perceptions.

Pre-election Discourse in Georgia

Tamar Lomadze1

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to analyze the language of political marketing, i.e. pre-election discourse, to define what linguistic means are applied in the process of exercising power and managing public

opinion in Georgian reality. Due to the fact that political picture of the pre-election environment and the quality of conducting elections and pre-election period speaks of any country’s level of democratic development and as a rule, every country is in the focus of the world attention during the

election period, we consider that linguistic analysis of political discourse plays a vital role in revealing facts and presenting actual picture of reality. We chose linguistic materials of the 2012 parliamentary elections as a topic of our research. This election distinguished itself by being the first

in the history of Georgian elections during which the ruling party was defeated in the elections. Besides, we will analyze 2013 presidential election, which, unlike all the other elections, was characterized by being conducted in peaceful environment. We have also worked on the corpus of

the 2014 self-government elections. We have used CDA (Critical Discourse Analysis) to analyze the pre-election discourse. The choice of the method was conditioned by the fact that it best reveals the cases of exercising power through discourse. We observed what influence rhetorical tools have on discourse and correspondingly, what role discourse plays in constructing public opinion.

Key words: pre-election discourse, CDA (Critical Discourse Analysis) , Construction of public opinion.

The Problem of Intertextuality – William Shakespeare and Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World”

Tamta Amiranashvili1

Abstract The paper deals with the problem of intertextuality in Aldous Huxley’s novel Brave New World. A regular reference to William Shakespeare’s plays is particularly noticeable in the book. Shakespeare’s three plays The Tempest, Hamlet, Romeo and Juliet have an especially strong effect on

the novel. Huxley’s Brave New World is one of the rarest books in which almost all types of intertextuality are found. Huxley uses paratextuality when he borrows the title of his novel from Shakespeare’s play The Tempest. The writer refers to hypertextuality as the plot and characters of

the book stem from Shakespeare’s mentioned three plays. Besides, Huxley uses metatextuality while based on The Tempest he criticizes modern technocratic society.

Ethnodemographic and cultural situation in Tetritskaro district of Georgia

Teona Kvantchiani1

Abstract

Georgia has almost never been a monoethnic country. Due to its geopolitical location migration

processes caused by various reasons often took place. Consequently, Georgia was formed as a multiethnic country. At the beginning of the XIX century Russia started resettling foreigners to Georgia. One of the most multiethnic district is Tetritskaro. The earliest settlers in Tetristkaro were

ethnic Azerbaijanis and Armenians, other ethnic units were resettled here by Russian tsarism during the XIX century: Germans in 1817, Greeks in the 1830s and Russians have been resettling here

throughout the XIX century. Migration of the Osetians to Tetritskaro district from mountainous parts of ShidaKartli of Georgia started from the 1880s. In the 1940s increased population from Pshavi and Khevsureti (mountainous part of Eastern Georgia) migrated here. During the Second World War the

ethnic Germans were exiled to Middle Asia. In the 1980s highlanders from western Georgia were resettled to this region. Their resettlement was caused by environmental factors. The ethnic communities resettled to Tetritskaro district live here up to these days. Important and peaceful

cultural relationships are established in this multiethnic society.

Key words: migration, Georgia, ethnic units.

Armenian Diasporas in Georgia

Tamuna Tchitchagua1

Abstract

Armenians were the most plentiful among the foreign ethnic units in Georgia within XIX-XX

centuries. They densely populated mostly Samtskhe-Javakheti, Kvemo Kartli and Trialeti regions of Georgia. Migration of Armenians to Georgia took place almost within the entire history. For example: in mid-XI century, when they lost their statehood, King David Aghmashenebeli (David the Builder)

settled a group the migrant Armenians in the city of Gori. An important part of Armenians migrated and settled in Georgia in XV century. Settlement of Armenians in Samtskhe-Javakheti was in 1830. The Tsarist Russia resettled Armenians there from the territory of the present-day Turkey: Erzurum,

Kars and Baiazet… Migrated Armenians settled in the city of Akhaltsikhe in an important amount; they were 2 000 in number mostly artisans and merchants from Erzurum. In late Middle Ages and XIX century a certain part of Georgian Gregorians (monophysites) were ascribed to ethnic

Armenians living in Georgia. They were Armenians only by confession, but by their origin, language, culture they were Georgians. First the Russian Empire and then the Soviet power substituted their

Georgian family names for most of them with Armenian.

Ossets in Georgia: History and Modernity

Ketevan Tsimintia1

Abstract

Different ethnic groups, among them Ossets, co-lived with Georgians in Georgia within the centuries. Ossets lived in East Georgia, Some of them settled in West Georgia as well. The first Ossetian settlements appeared on the territory of the present-day Georgia from mid-XVII century in Shida

Kartli highlands. Till the end of XVIII century an intensive process of resettlement of Ossets from North Caucasus to Georgia was ongoing. The reason for re-settlement of Ossets to Georgia from North Caucasus was scarcity of land plots. Along with a group re-settlement, Ossets migrated

individually as well to the territory of Georgia and then scattered in the Georgian villages. In such a case, their descendants soon assimilated with Georgians. Assimilation of Ossets in the Georgian ethnic environment was promoted by adoption of Christianity and marriage relations with the local

Georgian population. Ossets, which densely migrated to the highland regions of Georgia, preserved their ethnic identity. Ossets had permanent agricultural and economic relations with Georgians

living in lowlands. Tension in the Georgian-Ossetian relations appeared from the first years of the Soviet period. Bolshevist authorities deliberately promoted this tension in the Georgian-Ossetian relations.

Key words: migration, Ossets, assimilation.

Nowadays Tbilisi is a centre of many different youth cultures. Starting from 2015 late spring this group of youth had started sharing public events, where everyone was invited for weekend spending time on a fresh air, in Public Park. After first event they were occupying this park ones in a two week.

From beginning there was just few handmade crafts, but letter many young people joined this group with different ideas. So, time up to time it became very diverse stuff sellers. They call their market Flea Market, but it is interesting that in Tbilisi if you say Flea Market, mostly people will give you

advice to go to dry bridge, where there are a lot of things from Soviet Union. In 90th when people did not have money, they starting selling from their houses don’t needed stuff. It becomes interesting when you are going to see some Soviet Union goods and find out that opposite of the street, in

another park there are people having some music, bicycling, selling handmade crafts made modern, or in vintage style. Even the Alternative Flea Market costumers’ style is not ordinary.

The Persian Root Shen in the Georgian Language and Toponymy

Nino Zedginidze1

Abstract

Borrowing words from the Eastern languages, including Persian language, occupy an important place in the Georgian language lexis. In the research of Georgian-Oriental language contacts the main focus is on borrowing words, the process of borrowing in the Georgian language, on the ways and

etymologies of their establishment. A number of works, representing an important material, have been written about the relations between Georgian and Eastern languages, as well as about historical vocabulary and etymology of the Georgian and Eastern languages. Etymology of some lexical or

grammatical elements often cause disagreement amongst scientists. One of them is the element shen. Linguistic studies show, that the stem of the verb shen/sheneba was borrowed from Middle Persian into the Georgian and Armenian languages. Professor Andronikashvili and Professor Acharian are

trying to restore the Middle Persian form sen, on which Georgian and Armenian forms are based. The term-formant shen is especially productive in the toponymy. Quite a lot of names of places use the

root shen in Georgian toponymy: Akhalsheni, Khevasheni, Gogasheni, Tamarasheni, Mindasheni, Otarasheni. Our aim is to reveal the existence of the stem shen in historical and modern-day Georgia. Analytical and comparative methods are used in the following paper. Looking through and learning

the papers of the Georgian linguists as well as German scientific literature turned out to be very interesting. It is important to define productivity of the element shen in Georgian toponymy.

Toward The Ancient Georgian- Iranian Toponymy Connections

Salome Beridze1

Abstract

The paper deals with ancient Georgian-Iranian toponymic connections. The aim of the paper is to find out the developing and establishing ways of the Iranian lexical unit Ispahan-Aspana in Georgian

toponymy as much as it is possible. As it is known in scientific literature, the words, incorporated from Iranian language into Georgian, came at different times from different circles and differ in

nature. One can encounter all kinds of loan words, such as words, borrowing from live language relationships or literate words, international words and the Iranian origin lexical units that have established by the influence of different languages. The Iranian origin word Aspana should be

borrowed from Ispahan. There is a village Aspara in the South Georgia in Javakheti region and its original name be Aspana, but at present it is named as Aspara. Therefore, we think, that the study of borrowing and establishing of the toponym Aspana will provide us very interesting information. In

order to study the topic, we used old Georgian literature and the works of modern-day scientists as well. The study revealed that, the toponym Aspanais fixed in Old Georgian written sources, such as Kartlis Tskhovreba (Life ofKartli) . Toponym Aspana is confirmed in this historical source with the

meaning of Ispahan. Vakhtang Gorgasali (king of Georgia in V century) was Georgian from his father’s generation, the relative of Uplos (Mtskhetosi’s son) and his mother was Persian of Aspan origin. People migration from the big Eastern cities to Georgia was common during the centuries. As

the result of this migration, they brought place names from their countries to Georgia. Besides Aspana, the name of the village Ani that was brought here by the migrated population from the former capital of Armenia is interesting as well.

Abstract

Abstract

Since French De Morgan in early 20th century presented a brief report of 10-day excavations in pre-

historic cemeteries around Namin and considered them as belonging to Bronze Age, no report of archaeological Research in this region of Azerbaijan has been presented yet and there is no clear understanding of the status of different historic and pre-historic periods of this region. The first part

of archaeological surveys of Namin was done in an area of about 600 square kilometers in the eastern part of the plateau of Azerbaijan in fall 2015, during which 175 historical sites were identified. The purpose of this study is starting targeted archaeological research in the area of East

Azerbaijan and filling lack of studies in the field of northwestern Iran and providing preparations to determine the position of different periods’ cultures, especially pre-historic ones of studied region in chronology Tables of northwestern Iran and Caucasus. The results of Research show the presence of

specific settlement patterns in Bronze and Iron Age by focusing on citadels and existence of vast cemeteries mostly cairn burial and megalithic around them. In this paper, in addition to presenting an overview of the geographical status of the region that has certainly affected the formation and

continuation of settlement patterns we will perform archaeological analysis of pre-historic settlement patterns of the region.

Non-Compositional Idioms on Intake of Learners

Reza Abdi1and Ghazal Farangizade22

Abstract

This study aimed at investigating how 30 Persian learners of English at intermediate level used their

first language knowledge to comprehend and produce three types of English idioms, which were included as compositional, semi-compositional, and non-compositional idioms. The learners were divided into two groups; one experimental and one control. A pre-test which included both

comprehension and production tests were administered to each group. Then, experimental group was received treatment in the form of small conversations, but control group was not received any

treatment. In the last session both groups were received immediate post-test and after one month, a delayed post-test was taken. For the analysis of data a t-test and ANOVA were employed. Results in both groups showed that compositional idioms had the highest correct responses, followed by semi-

compositional idioms, and non-compositional idioms were the most difficult to comprehend and produce. In addition, in both groups learners performed better in comprehension rather than production test.

Determine and Evaluate the Aerobic and Anaerobic Threshold Heart Rate of Maximum Heart rate Threshold in Sedentary Female

Negar Asghari Moghaddam1, Marefat Siahkouhian2 and Nasrin Azizian3

Abstract

The aim of this study was to answer this question Vastanh aerobic, anaerobic threshold heart rate in the percentage of maximum heart rate in girls is disabled? For this purpose, 16 disabled students with an average age of 19/46 ±1/12 years, weight 57/73 ± 7/87 kg, height 161/9 ± 6/08 cm And body mass index 22/93 ± 3/02 kg per square meter, with no history of heart disease, pulmonary, on a voluntary basis, were selected. When you increase the work load of low intensity to high blood lactate levels almost 2 m mol/l increases as well as the VE / VO2 increases disproportionately as the aerobic threshold is defined (1) . As well as during incremental exercise a certain intensity, blood lactate concentration increases for non-linear, or intensity of activity which blood lactate concentration4 m mol / l is defined as anaerobic threshold (2) . The aerobic threshold and anaerobic threshold in this study, the first and second point has to do with heart rate curve breaks. Changes in participants' heart rate during exercise protocol implementations, using telemetry minute was recorded. To avoid any error when the minute heart rate telemetry was used, two-hour special on the subject, one of which was closed and the other was given to researchers. When the subject is the point of exhaustion, the heart rate was at maximum value that was recorded as maximum heart rate. Results showed that the mean maximal heart rate subjects 189/46 aerobic threshold heart rate of 135/66 was, So the aerobic threshold heart rate at 71/60% maximum heart rate is disabled students And given that the average maximum heart rate for subjects 189/46 anaerobic threshold heart rate of 189/46, so anaerobic threshold heart rate at 100% maximum heart rate is disabled students. The share of aerobic system for energy increases the person's heart rate less to operate. When we increase the exercise intensity, heart rate increases and the share is reduced aerobic machines and other energy supplier to assume the duty of energy supply, especially glycol tic devices that use the anaerobic glycol sis to produce of the energy.

The Effect of Collaboration Conditions on Learning Requesting Functions

Reza Abdi1 and Rokhsareh Haghjoo2

Abstract

Second language learners’ poor knowledge of pragmatics has recently received attention among researchers in language learning classrooms. The current study examined the effect of collaboration conditions on requesting functions. To this purpose, sixty Iranian students were divided into three

groups. The proficiency test and a dialogue construction task as a pretest were administrated. Based on the result of the proficiency test, participants were divided to three groups: two experimental groups (homogenous collaborative group, heterogeneous collaborative group) and a control group.

The experimental groups received explicit met pragmatic information on request followed by a dialogue construction task in pairs during 6 sessions of treatment. The control group received the same information but completed the task individually. Results of One-way ANOVA of the post-test

scores revealed that both experimental groups outperformed the control group in producing request making.

Effects of Body Fluids Changes on Blood Pressure in Sedentary Males

Habib Abdi1, Lotfali Bolboli2, Aydin Valizadeh3and Omid Yousefi4

Abstract

Heart failure as result of high blood pressure is a considerable problem, which can cause death. One of the reasons is unbalanced body fluids. Change of body fluids impresses plasma volume and blood pressure (BP) that influences the heart. The participants of this study were 12 sedentary males with the average of age: 37. 08±4. 14 years; weight: 79. 18±7. 36 kg; SBP (systolic blood pressure) :128. 89 ±7. 54 and DBP (diastolic blood pressure) : 86. 04±3. 58 m mhg, that voluntary attended in this study. During a period of 36 hour the participants gradually reduced the volume of liquids that were received daily to be dehydrated up to 2 percent. One week later the participants were hyper hydrated up to 2 percent by drinking more liquids about 2ml/g of increased weight, more than daily consuming which took 48 hours. To determine the levels of hydration status the differences of body weight before and after the changing of body fluids were used. In both protocols SBP and DBP determined by a digital barometer while the participants sat on a comfortable chair. The data were analyzed using Paired-Sample T test and significance level set as P ≤ 0. 05. After dehydration the average of SBP was 118. 28±3. 93 and DBP 79. 33±2. 74 and in case of hyper hydration the average of SBP was 136. 18±10. 40 and DBP 86. 79±3. 81 mmhg. Only in hyper hydration status the changing in average of SBP was not significant (P≥0. 05) . In other cases the changes were significant (P≤0. 05) . Although hyper hydration up to 2 percent, according to the results of this study, could not increase SBP significantly but in other situations, changing of body fluids at such level changed SBP and DBP significantly. Considering the role of body fluids in BP changes, heart disorders and fluids role in factors like Vo2max and body heat exchange, athletes and sedentary males should retain body fluids at normal range. If some athletes want to lose weight quickly must be aware the subsequent of dehydration. In sedentary people the main problem is hyper hydration that may rise BP. So these people must control the levels of body fluids to prevent high BP and heart disorders.

serum Creatine kinase and exercise extrovert is more pronounced among non-athletes. The aim of this study is acute influence of glutamine supplementation on serum levels of CPK after eccentric resistance exercise in young men. Methods: 16 randomly selected young man (age: 22.35±2.27yr;

body mass: 69.91± 9.78kg; height: 177.08±4.32cm) disabled and the two groups (N=8) control group (N=8) were divided that all subjects were obtained twice in the 8th with maximum dominant leg begins to warm up, then in 3 sets of 15 teeth with 70%1 RM performed knee flexion. Test the

positive side move to the zero angle of the knee joint did and the motion negative (eccentric contraction of the quadriceps) was carried out by subjects. Also, rest for 3 minutes between each

session was considered. The active group received glutamine acute. Blood samples were taken from the subjects after 24 hours and data using spss software and analyzed by ANOVA (P≤0.05). Results showed that acute consumption of glutamine in the active group (P = 0.04) were significant and in

the control group (P = 0.36), no significant effect was observed. This study showed that acute consumption of glutamine can be Creatine kinase is reduced and muscle damage.

Studying the Role of the US in Georgia`s Crisis

Morteza Ebrahimi1and Somayeh Abasi2 Hamzeh Ganji3

Abstract

Crisis backgrounds of Georgia, based on national and geopolitical situations of south Gafqaz, has existed for a long time. From the time of independence of the republic of Georgia, too many wars have so far taken place between Abkhazia, Avstia and Georgia because of territorial conflicts. The

aim of the study Depicting the behavioral approach of the US in the process of political evolutions in Gafqaz district specially in the crisis of Georgia. What kind of role do you think Georgia plays in the geopolitical calculations of the US which make the west to pay more attention? It appears that the

geopolitical and geoeconomical importance of Georgia for the US is that Georgia has a possibility of easily joining the pipelines from Azerbaijan to Turkey. Accordingly, security, consistency, and stability inside the country are very citical to the US. Accessing to the heartland regions and borders

to defend against russia and its hegemony in the region, settling into the entries of North Gafqaz, and providing situations for the west to settle into the Iran`s north front to defend and weaken, are the

main factors that have made Georgia geopolitically important to the west specifically to the United States of America.

Crisis

Morteza Ebrahimi1, Seyed Ali Mortazavi Emami Zavare2, Fahime Oleiki3 and Mehdi Jahantab4

Abstract

The collapse of the former Soviet Union caused a geopolitical vacuum in the Caucasus, Central Asia.

In such a way that it make it competitive in terms of regional and international powers. The presences of regional and trans-regional powers take impact on the region behavioral pattern. The question that lies ahead is that the impact of conflicts of Chechnya and Russia on Caucasus region

crisis. The aim of this study is to engage the Caucasus with a historical attitude and the rule of regional and trans-regional powers in Caucasus crisis and specially Chechnya. In the North Caucasus, Chechnya declared independence from Russia in 1991 and this was the most important

developments, which later led to a long war with the central government. It seems that the wrong policies of Moscow and local governments are the main cause of violence in Chechnya. However, operating inland should be considered. Russians historically have always been against Muslims.

Russians lose a part of its territory with losing Chechnya, because if this first strong and incompatible republic with the independence of Russia managed, turn immediately to reach the other republics of the Caucasus and elsewhere in the region is symmetrical.

A Contrastive Study of Rhetorical Devices in the Qur'anic Surah ‘Yusuf’ and Prophet Josef TV Series within the Framework of

Multimodal Discourse Analysis

Elham Jafari1and Tohid Siami2

Abstract

Several methods have been used in the Qur'an to guide humankind. Rhetoric is one of the most

important characteristics in the Holy Qur'an and an interdisciplinary area in Qur'anic and literary studies. It is applied knowledge, the aim of which is to give weight to discourse and to avoid non-grammatical mistakes related to expression forms, methods of harmonizing the discourse with its

context of situation as well as word selection methods. Many readings of texts are produced not just by the use of words used but by a combination of words with other modalities such as pictures, films,

video images and sound (Partridge, 2012, 169) . These become linguistic tools in Multimodal Discourse Analysis (MMDA) , which considers how multimodal texts are designed and how semiotic tools such as color, framing, focus and positioning of elements contribute to the creation of meaning

in such texts. Images have been given special attention in much of the work in MMDA. (Partridge, 2012, 171) . In fact, what helps us in MMDA includes speech and looking manners, facial expressions, the colors used camera angle, lighting techniques, etc. The present study aims at comparing the

rhetorical elements in ‘the Qur'anic Surah Yusuf with those in the Prophet Josef TV Series using Multimodal Discourse Analysis, to determine the degrees of effectiveness of these genres (print and visual) on addressees.

The Effect of Aerobic Exercise with Two Different Intensities on Changes in Boimarkers of Myocardial Contractility (CK-MB) in

Non-Athletic Middle-Aged Men

Azimeh Mohayyer1, Pouya Fardi2, Lotfali Bolboli3and Babak Nakhostin Roohi4

Abstract

Creatine Kinase is enzyme MB (CK-MB) is one of the most important markers of heart muscle damage. This study aimed to examine the effect of aerobic exercise with two different intensities on changes in biomarkers of myocardial contractility (CK-MB) in non-athletic middle-aged men. This

research was quasi-experimental 16 men-aged 30-45 years in Parsabad city (height 176/96 ± 5/77 cm, weight 74/07 ± 5/77 kg, BMI 23/05 ± 2/96 kg/m2 and fat percent 21/49 ± 5/62) were selected according to randomly sampling method to fill out the consent form to Participate in research. This

study used crossover method in two consecutive steps immediately for 10 days was carried out, the examinee divided in two experimental groups A (n: 8) and B (n: 8) in the first phase when the group A reached to VO2max 75% and the group B reached to VO2max 60% and also in the second phase group

A reached VO2max 60% and group B to VO2max 75%, they start to run on treadmill for 30 minutes. Blood samples were taken both before and 4 hours after the exercise. For data analysis and examining the normality of data and analysis of variance with repeated measures, Shapiro Will test

was used. The data analysis results showed that serum levels of CK-MB increased in both intensity of VO2max 75%, VO2max 60% and in both phases than to pretest. But no significant differences between two VO2max 75% and VO2max 60% intensity was seen. In general it seems that increased serum CK-MB

is probably due to fatigue or heart damage so it is advisable for these people lower intensities.

The Comparative Instigation of Cambat Description in

Farrokhi Sistani and Motanabis

Ramin Moharrami 1and Masume Hosseinpuor2

Abstract

Farrokhi Sistani and Motanabi are fourth and fifth century poets and nearly contemporary and both are elegists and court eulogists. The poetic subjects that both have involved is description of combat.

Theirs interface in combat description is that both deal with subjects such as praised man’s braveness and gallantry, infidel calling the enemies, combat sphere and dust description, description of elephants and horses, description of war instruments such as swords and spears, description of

troops. Their differences is that Farrokhi in describing war animals little deals with horses’ description and more to elephants’ description But Motanabi more deals with horse and has not described elephants. In description of combat dust, unlike Motanabi, Farrokhi little has mentioned

the term of dust. In description of war instruments, Farrokhi deals with spear but Motanabi little mentioned this subject. Also Motanabi described spear state in combat field but Farrokhi does not deal with its description. In description of sword, Motanabi also unlike Farrokhi called sword as

praising subject. Article methodology is of comparative approach and analytical descriptive method and sample volume is total poems of Farrokhi Sistani.

Keywords: Frrokhi Sistani, Motanabi, Description of combat, comparative literature, Poems.

The Effects of Collaborative Planning on Iranian Intermediate EFL Learners Mastery of Writing Skill

Sara Mirazi1 and Asgar Mahmoudi2

Abstract This study was concerned with Iranian intermediate EFL learners' writing. Since writing mastery is a difficult task for EFL learners to accomplish, the present research investigated if both individual and

collaborative planning can facilitate students' mastery of this important skill. The study was also interested in finding out if any particular component of writing (content, organization, vocabulary use,

language use, and mechanics) was affected differently from other components. Using a quasi-

experimental design, two homogenized groups, each with 26 students all having the same first language, underwent 8 treatment sessions. The results of the Paired-samples T-tests revealed that

both planning types were effective in improving the learners’ writing performance. Moreover, running a Multivariate Analysis of Variance revealed that all four components of writings were affected with content of the writings being affected more positively. The findings of the study

highlight the significance of planning, specifically with peers, before writing tasks. These findings could be beneficial for EFL teachers and learners alike.

Key words: Writing skill, Collaborative planning, Writing components, and EFL learners.

A Study of Domestication and Foreignization Strategies in the Persian Translation of "IL GROTTESCO QUOTIDIANO"

Laleh Mousavi1 and Tohid Siami2

Abstract

The purpose of the present study was to investigate domestication and Foreignization strategies in

the translation of culture-bound lexical items or expressions in the text of ilgrottescoquotidiano from Italian into Persian. All cases of domestication and Foreignization were identified and organized as single lexical items, expressions and idiomatic expressions. The data then were analyzed according

within the framework introduced by Venuti (1995) . Newmark's views were also drawn upon in the translation of culture-specific concepts. The results of the data analysis revealed domestication to be the dominant strategy in rendering culture-bound lexical items or expressions, minimizing the

strangeness of the foreign text for readers of the translated text.

Keywords: Domestication, Foreignization, Culture-bound lexical items or expressions, Venuti, Newmark, Ilgrottescoquotidiano.

Identification of the Social Identity of Those Burried in the Shahidgah Cemetery of Sheikh Safi-ad-din Ardabili Based on the

Decorations on the Gravestones

Samad Parvin and Behrooz Afkhami1

Abstract

Gravestones are one of the most mysterious resources of the past history that are created to commemorate the dead. The gravestones of each region and country are influenced by the

architecture and culture of that area. The introduction of the introduction of prominent figures, verses and sayings, poems and other historical information engraved on the gravestones are a very good source to study the history, culture and art in various areas that can be used to determine the

identity social status and profession of the deceased. Also they indicate the beliefs of people in each region presented to modern humans. Shahidgah is one of the most unique examples of cemeteries located in the eastern and southern side of Sheikh Safi buildings. This cemetery had been the burial

place of the first disciples of Sheikh Safi and later the burial of Chalderan and Shirvan martyrs and religious and political figures. The decorations on the gravestones indicate the identity and social and religious position of the deceased. The study and investigation of the gravestones in Shahidgah is

aimed at determining their social status in the past. This study is performed by library studies and field surveys

The Effect of Noticing and Input Enhancement in Reading on Speaking Skill

Reza Abdi1 and Golnaz Tarbali2

Abstract

This study was to determine the effect of noticing and input enhancement in reading on speaking skill. The participants of this study were 30 learners attending a language learning institute in

Ardebil in the form of two groups. Two of the groups were at the intermediate level based on the proficiency test. The two groups at the institute were assigned to one experimental group (enhanced input) and one control group (unenhanced input) . First we used the pre-test of speaking, and then

we had ten reading passages for each session. During the classroom, we had some in-class instructional activities and finally a post-test of speaking was given to the learners and for the assessment of learners' oral production, we used TOEFL speaking rubric. The analysis and

comparison between pre-test and post-test through paired sample t-test showed that noticing and input enhancement had helped learners in the experimental group on intermediate level to learn

more vocabulary items and improve their oral production.

Effect of Caffeine on Blood Pressure in young basketball players

Afshin Rahbar ghazi1

Abstract

The risk of coronary artery disease increases with increasing of blood pressure both in hypertensive

and normotensive persons; on the other hand nutritional factors have asignificant effect on blood pressure. The purpose of this study was to assessthe effect of caffeine on blood pressure in sedentary healthy male during resistance exercise. In this study, 30 basketball players were randomly selected

and and stratified according to age and BMI into two groups: caffeine and placebo. Young basketball players 1 hour after taking caffeine (5mg/kg body weight) or Placebo was ingested in the form of gelatin capsules.Blood pressure (BP) was measured before and 1 hour after taking caffeine and also

immediately after any exercise. Data analysis was conducted using in dependentand pairedt-test.Results indicated that systolic and diastolic BP and mean arterial pressure significantly elevated following caffeine intake at rest, but no significant differences were observed afterexercise. The

sefindings indicate that caffeine at this dosage level alters cardiovascular dynamics by augmenting arterial blood pressure in moderately non-athletes male at rest. However,it seems that taking caffeine before resistance exercise does not cause abnormal elevations inblood pressure in

sedentary healthy male.

Abstract

In this paper, we will be discussing a Hamiltonian of a particle kicked by a Gaussian beam. This Hamiltonian provides an adequate description of quantum chaotic behavior. For such a system, by applying Einstein –Podolsky- Rosen (EPR) correlation and calculating entanglement parameter we

will demonstrate that such a system is an appropriate system for cryptography.

Abstract

Silver thin films on the glass substrate were produced by means of sputtering techniques. The only variable parameter in deposit was the angle between normal to the substrate surface and vapor flux

direction. Optical reflection and transmittance spectra of thin film were obtained by means of UV-Visible spectrometer. Bruggman homogenization simulation method was used to obtain structural parameter of the thin film. It was observed the void fraction of thin films was less than 10 percent

and it seems the film consist of rod structures. The thickness of thin film was variable for different deposit angle.

Thermodynamic Entropy Due to Lorentz Violation

Mehrnoosh Farahmand1, Hosein Mohammadzadeh2

Abstract

Quantum effects of gravity in the early universe can be led to the existence of the present particles.

We consider a free mass-less scalar field on a spatial lattice has been included in the early universe, so that all modes of the field are in vacuum state. Such scalar field model represents a modified dispersion relation as Lorentz violation which displays a quantum gravity model. The vacuum state

in the presence of Lorentz violation can be appeared as particle creation. In this paper, article production due to Lorentz violation is shown as an entropic increase. Therefore, in this approach the source of the current entropy content of the universe should be directly related to particle creation

stemming from Lorentz violation.

Entanglement of Non-Inertial Fermions is not Invariably Suitable for Superdense Coding

Mehrnoosh Farahmand1, Hosein Mohammadzadeh2, Hossein Mehri-Dehnavi3, Robabeh Rahimi4

Abstract

Two particles, even being far from each other have quantum correlation as a result of the existence of entanglement in between them. Therefore, information can be shared by entangled particles, sitting in separate places. Superdense coding is one of the quantum protocols that relies on

entanglement. In this paper, we study Superdense coding with a non-inertial observer in beyond single mode approximation. We investigate the probability of success for Superdense coding and quantum correlation of the state. Entanglement behavior is studied considering an entanglement

measure so called logarithmic negativity. Comparing logarithmic negativity with probability of Superdense coding is shown these quantities have different behaviors, particularly when the beyond

single mode approximation is strong.

Optical Properties of Organometallic Halide Perovskites

Soghra Mir Ershadi1, Farhad Sattari2, Mahmoud Mohamadi Saridarag 2

Abstract

During the past decades, the subjects that attracted much current theoretical and experimental interest are the linear and nonlinear optical properties of semiconductors. Recently, organic-inorganic Perovskites with the general formula CH3NH3PbX3 (X= C l, Br, I) have attracted a lot of

attention due to their unique and exciting optical properties besides the potential applications in photovoltaic systems [1, 2]. Confining the organic molecules in the inorganic framework improves the nonlinear optical response of the hybrids. However, nonlinear optical properties of the

CH3NH3PbX3 Perovskites are significant from the point of view of realizing their photo-physics and for finding the potential for using these compounds in optical applications. In this work, Organic–inorganic hybrids are prepared by solution chemistry method. The next step is to deposit thin film of

CH3NH3PbCl3hybrids on quartz substrates. Excellent homogeneity thin films of hybrids and thicknesses about 100 nanometre were deposited by the electron beam evaporation technique. Z-

scan technique is a sensitive and standard technique that was employed for measuring the sign and magnitude of nonlinear refractive index as well as nonlinear absorption coefficient. From the open-aperture Z-scan data we derived that these hybrids exhibit good storable absorption coefficient. We

also estimated the sign and magnitude of the third order nonlinearity by means of the closed aperture Z-scans.

An Overview of the Polymorphisms in G-Quadruplex Regions of the TP53 Associated with Tumorigenesis

Negin Naderi1, Saber Zahri2, Saeid Latifi Navid3 and Abbas Yazdanbod4

Abstract Tumor suppressor protein P53 has an important role in genomic stability. P53 gene activity is lost in all human cancers with p53 gene mutation or inactivation of P53 protein. In recent years, it has been found that the P53 protein isoforms can regulate p53 activity. G-quadruplex structures in TP53

intron 3 are regulating the splicing of intron 2. Δ40p53 isoform is p53 inhibitor and it is produced based on alternative splicing of intron 2 or alternative translation initiation site. In fact, retain part of intron 2 puts a stop codon between exons 2 and 3 in the p53i2 mRNA that it leads to the initiation of

translation at AUG40 located in exon 4. G-quadruplex structures are included p53 gene guanine residues which are part of the 16-bp duplication polymorphism (rs17878362) that is the most

common intronic changes in TP53. The aim of this review assesses the association between the polymorphism in the G-quadruplex structures in intron 3 of thep53 gene with cancer by increasing the expression of Δ40P53 isoforms. The published data showed that wild-type p53 gene intron 3

sequences able to form stable G-quadruplexes that splicing of intron 2 appears to make more efficient than when the G-quadruplex is formed by mutated sequences. Intron 3 Polymorphism may change the topology of G-quadruplex that it increases the expression of isoforms Δ40P53 and

consequently reduced activity of natural P53 which leads to Tumorigenesis. Therefore, the review of the polymorphisms in G-quadruplex structures in intron 3 of the TP53 can be an appropriate target for diagnosis and prognosis of various cancers.

Nonlinear Optical Properties of Perovskite Nanoparticles

Farhad Sattari1, Soghra Mirershadi2 and Amir-Masoud Shokri1

Abstract

Recently, extremely rapid progress has been made in organic−inorganic halide Perovkites solar cells

with the energy conversion efficiencies already exceeding 18% [1]. In physics, the absorption of light in semiconductors such as the Perovskites belongs to a light−matter interaction process in which the electrons in the interacted materials resonate with the electric field of the irradiating optical signal

and induce polarization. In the simplest form, assuming the dielectric response in an isotropic material is expressed as: Ps (t) = ε0 [χ (1) Es (t) + χ (2) Es 2 (t) + χ (3) Es 3 (t) +…] (1) . Therefore, under weak

radiation, the polarization is proportional to the excitation electric field and χ (1) is responsible for the

linear optics such as linear absorption, emission, refraction, etc. In contrast, under higher levels of

irradiation from sources such as lasers, nonlinear optical properties can be observed. Concerning the

crystal structure, MAPbI3 Perovskite is likely to be cento-symmetric indicating χ (2) = 0 at room

temperature. Therefore, third-order nonlinear optics may be generated under irradiation by high

intensity light. Besides discovering the nature of a material, third-order nonlinear optics, including

has been extensively applied in optoelectronics. Thereby, considerate advantages such as low

processing costs, the Perovskites would play important roles in nonlinear optics and optical devices.

This work is likely to stimulate significant effort toward realizing these and similar Perovskites as

nonlinear materials in optoelectronics.

Studying Semifluxon in a Corner Josephson junction consisting of Superconductors with S-Wave and D-Wave Gap Symmetry

Zohreh Shiri Mollaahmad1 and Mohammad Hamdipour2

Abstract

Changes in superconducting order parameter (superconducting gap) creates an electrical current, which can be investigated by a phase sensitive Josephson junction. For this purpose, in this article we consider a Josephson junction as figure 1, in which superconductor A is anisotropic that has d-wave

symmetry and B superconductor is s-wave and isotropic. Because superconductor A is anisotropic, there is π phase difference between two planes faces of it while in superconductor B the phase is constant. Therefore, we expect that a phase difference exist between superconductors A and B which

formed two Josephson junctions in plane faces of superconductor A. It is expected that if consider closed a path including two Josephson junctions (dashed line in the figure) there be an electrical

current flowing in it which are known as Semifluxon and since the flux passing through the closed path is half of flux quantum, so them also called half flux. In this study, we also investigate effect of magnetic field perpendicular to the system.

Macroscopic Quantum Tunneling in Superconductor-Insulator-Superconductor Josephson junction

Sanaz Zohouri Kakhki1and Mohammad Hamdipour2

Abstract

Tunneling effect is a very important phenomenon, which states if a particles with energy less than the height of a barrier can tunnel and pass though the barrier, which violate the classical physics. In

classical physics a particle can only pass through the barrier when its energy is at least equal to the height of the barrier. This tunneling phenomenon which is absolutely quantum effect has essential role in the decay of unstable nuclei and has many applications including tunnel diode and the

scanning tunneling microscope (STM) . In this paper we study the tunneling in Josephson junction. Josephson junction is a system in which two superconducting layer separated by an insulating layer with a thickness in the range of nanometers. In this system tunneling occurs collectively in the

macroscopic scale. This case is called macroscopic quantum tunneling and investigating this phenomenon because of its effect on current-voltage characteristics of system has great importance. In this paper we consider a Josephson junction connected to the voltage then we calculate the

quantum tunneling rate.

Thermal Escape Rate in the Superconductor-Insulator-Superconductor Josephson junction

Sanaz Zohouri Kakhki1 and Mohammad Hamdipour2

Abstract

Particles with thermal energy confined in a met stable potential always have the probability of scope from potential. This absolutely classical phenomenon plays important role in some events every day occur such as vaporization of liquids and thermionic emission of electrons from the surface of

metals. Mechanism of vaporization of liquids and thermionic emission is in a way that even if average energy of particles be much less than the energy required to escape from the surface, always there are particles that their energy is enough to escape from the surface or even greater than it (according

to statistic governing the system, the Maxwell-Boltzmann, Fermi-Dirac or. .) , this particles escapes from the surface of the object and this process is so called the thermal escape or thermal hopping. In

this paper we study the thermal hopping in Josephson junction. Josephson junction is a system in which two superconducting layer have been separated by an insulating layer with the thickness in the range of nanometers. Investigation of this phenomenon because of its effect on current-voltage

characteristics has great importance. In this paper we consider a Josephson junction at a specified temperature T and calculate thermal hopping rate.

Effects of Erythropoietin in the Prevention of Cell Damage and Necrosis in the Liver Induced by Ischemia-Reperfusion in Rats

Seyyed Saied Disnad1 and Samira Mahmoudinia2, 3

Abstract

Ischemic liver failure occurs following the discontinuation or reduction of blood flow to the liver.

Despite preventive and therapeutic proceedings, the disease is still associated with a high mortality rate. Erythropoietin (EPO) is a cytokine that was originally identified as the major regulator of

erythroid precursor cells. However EPO attenuates cell damage and necrosis. Studies were performed on male wistar rats weighing 200 to 250 g (n = 8) . Rats received a standard diet and water ad libitum and were housed in a 12-h light/dark cycle. The animals were randomly allocated

into two groups. In group 2 erythropoietin caused significant decrease cell death and inflammatory reactions in comparison with control group (p<0. 001) . Results indicated that erythropoietin inhibits cell death and inflammatory reactions in the liver rats.

Production of Bioethanol in Iran from the Wastes of Agricultural Crops

Forough Keyhani Nasab1, Tarahom Mesri Gundoshmian2 and Javad Jannat khah3

Abstract

Currently, ethanol is considered as a clean and reliable source and an alternative for gasoline fuel. Adding ethanol to gasoline does not create any problem technically and there is no need to change

the current gasoline fuel system. The possibility of producing cheap ethanol depends completely on spent cost and this spent cost is function of topography, climate, production methods and type and

properties of the feedstock for production. Wastes of agricultural crops can be considered as a cheap suitable source to produce ethanol. In this study, the possibility of producing bio-ethanol fuel from agricultural crop residues in Iran has been examined. The results of this research show that the

residues of agricultural crops such as sugar cane, corn, wheat and barley can be considered as the main source of bio-ethanol fuel production in Iran.

Evaluation of MDA and SOD in Secondary Iron Overload Model

Farideh Manafi1, 2and Reza Alipanah Moghadam 2 *

Abstract Iron is an essential element in the body which has a key role for many critical biological functions.

But excess iron absorption in the body for many years has toxic effects and cause health problems. Depletion of antioxidant, lipid peroxidation, formation of free hydroxyl radicals and the peroxidation of membrane lipids are the major consequences of oxidative stress induced-iron overload.

Malondialdehyde (MDA) is considered as a hallmark indicator of the degree of lipid peroxidation. Also, superoxide dismutase (SOD) as Antioxidant may play a role in the prevention of iron overload-

induced harmful free radicals. In the present study we gathered data from in vivo model of iron overload on Sprague rat through in traperitoneal injections of iron-sucrose to investigate the effect of excess iron on lipid peroxidation status such as Malondialdehyde (MDA) and SOD activity as

antioxidant. Sprague rats exposed to daily iron injection at a dose of 75 mg/kg body weight for two weeks (6times/week) . Tail-vein blood samples were collected in chilled EDTA-treated tubes for measurement of MDA (in 6th and 12th days of injection (. The amount of MDA was measured using the

MDA assay kit according to the manufacturer’s protocol. SOD level also, was determined by SOD assay kit as previously as described. Only rats exposed to daily iron injection at a dose of 75 mg/kg body weight for one week revealed a significant increase in lipid peroxidation in compared with

their controls, whereas there was no significant difference in SOD level between control and iron-loaded animals. Secondary iron overload may result in excessive iron deposition in the liver, has a toxic effect and cause health problems. Our work is the first study that officially describes iron

overload models carried out in young rats using iron-sucrose.

Effect of Bacopa Monnieri Extract on the motor Activity Change Due Social Isolation-Induced Stress

Mohammad Reza Rahimnejad 1 and Sam Rahimnejad2

Abstract

Loneliness and social isolation means falling apart from fellow in man and social animals is considered one powerful stressful event through several studies that has been shown negative effects of individual housing on various aspects of physiological function of living organisms such as

human and laboratory animals. Bacopa monnieri is a nootropic herb that has shown anti-stress effect in some studies. The anti-stress effects of Bacopa monnieri extract, and its interaction with GABAergic modulators against social isolation-induced stress were investigated in the present study.

Isolation stress was induced by keeping the mice individually in each cage for 4 weeks and various drug treatments were given for a period of 5 days before the start of the experiments. Bacopa monnieri extract (100 mg/kg) treatment for 5 days significantly reversed the social isolation stress-

induced hypo activity and increased total motor activity. When diazepam (0. 5 mg/kg) , a benzodiazepine agonist, was co-administered with Bacopa monnieri extract (100 mg/kg) , it significantly potentiated the increasing glocomotor activity. The present study demonstrated the

anti-stress effects of Bacopa monnieri preparation against social isolation-induced stress and synergism between GABAergic system and Bacopa monnieri.

Estimation of Catalase in Serum as a Biomarker for Antioxidative Stress in Patients with Esophageal Cancer

Farideh Manafi1, Zahra Farzaneh sheikhahmad2, Arash Mehri piryvatlo and

Reza Alipanah Moghadam

Abstract

Esophageal cancer (EC) is one of the six most common malignancies in the world. It is important to measure Catalase levels because oxidative stress is inherent in pathological conditions such as

cancer, diabetes, cataracts, atherosclerosis, neurodegenerative disease, aging, and nutritional deficiencies. Catalase is an important cellular antioxidant enzyme that defends against oxidative stress. It is found in the peroxisomes of most aerobic cells. Therefore, the aim of the study was to

estimate serum Catalase level in esophageal cancer. During this case control study, 25 patients with esophageal cancer and 25 normal subjects were selected (considering the inclusion and exclusion criteria) by simple sampling. After obtaining written consent from them, blood samples were

prepared. The Catalase activity (CAT) was measured using the Catalase assay kit according to the manufacturer’s protocol. Finally data were compared with t-test between two groups. SPSS v15 was

used for data analysis. Blood serum samples from 25 newly diagnosed Esophageal cancer (EC) patients and healthy volunteers have been analyzed, CAT activity have been measured. Cancer patients showed significantly lower CAT activity compared to a control group. Decreased serum

Catalase in esophageal cancer can serve as a valuable marker for both preventive and clinical intervention, and may deserve further investigation for the early diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis. The present data support that serum Catalase may be a potential biomarker for anti-

oxidative stress.

The Effect of Opening Position in the Rectangular Concrete Beams on the Size and Weight of Steel Consumption

Amin Ghannadi Asl1, Arezoo Gharibi Asl2 and Soheil Soleymanzade Moghaddam3

Abstract

In the construction of moderns buildings, many pipes and ducts are necessary to accommodate essential services like water supply, sewage, air-conditioning, electricity, telephone, and computer network usually these pipes and ducts are placed underneath the soffit of the beam and, for aesthetic

reasons, are covered by a suspended ceiling, thus creating a dead space that adds to the overall building height depends on the number and depth of ducts to be accommodated. To avoid increasing

the height of the ceiling and dead weight floor, it’s better that pipes and ducts pass from the beams of ceiling for this purpose beams should be designed in the form of opening. In this paper, opening position is beam height. Also in this article is investigated the effect of the presence or absence of

openings in the beam height on the tensile, compressive and shear steel in reinforced concrete beams. For this purpose, the program is provided by Matlab. The results show that changes in cross-sectional dimensions and position of opening cause to change the amount of area tensile,

compressive and shear steel, and the total weight of the steel in reinforced concrete sections.

Task Scheduling in Cloud Computing Using Particle Swarm Optimization

Shahram Jamali1, Fatemeh Alizadeh2 and Soheila Sadeqi3

Abstract

Cloud computing is the growthof distributed computing, parallel computing, utility computing and grid computing, or defined as the commercial implementation of these computer science theories.

One of the fundamental issues in cloud environment is the task scheduling which plays the key role of efficiency of the whole cloud computing facilities. Scheduling maps the user’s tasks to resources to be executed efficiently in order to benefit both the service providers and customers. Since the cloud

task scheduling is an NP-hard optimization problem, many meta-heuristic algorithms have been proposed to solve it. In this paper a policy based on particle swarm optimization compared with genetic algorithm and FCFS, has been introduced. PSO is a population-based search algorithm based

on the simulation of the social behaviour of birds within the flock. The main goal in this research is minimizing the make span and waiting time of a given tasks set. Proposed policy and two other algorithms have been simulated using Cloudsim toolkit package. The results showed that PSO

performed better than genetic and FCFS algorithms.

Power Flow Solution in a Large Scale Power System Including IPFC

Elham Mokaramian1, Hossein Shayeghi2 and Abdollah Younesi

Abstract

In this paper a power injection model (PIM) of interline power flow controller (IPFC) by applying the Newton-Raphson method is discussed. This model is incorporated into Newton-Raphson power flow to study the effects of IPFC parameters in the power flow study. The IPFC has much more flexible

topologies, consists of at least two converters, and can be used to control power flows of a group of lines. It can be anticipated that the IPFC may be used to solve the complex transmission network congestion management problems that transmission companies are now facing in the transmission

open-access environment. The Newton-Raphson power flow solution method with IPFC model is a useful tool for operation and control of power systems.

Ebrahim Zare Imani1, Amin Ghorbani Goshaeh Olya2 and Alialnagh Mostafaei3

Abstract

Case networks vehicle of (VANETs) are the subset of (MANET) mobile case networks. These networks like MANET have not any special structure, and there the nodes form the moving vehicles network. The driver decision, high speed and continuous movement of vehicles have provided the

single characteristics of these networks. So routing for the dissemination of information in these networks is a fundamental matter. The routing in the networks is divided into several categories, which one of the most important is the success based on routing. In this study, an efficient routing

method is presented for VANET. The presented method acts as of any moment the reliability amount of any street is measured and assigned a weight to each of it when in sending a message, we face with failure, one of the back message of the failed node is sent to the main sender for updating, which

during doing so, the amount of routing selection will be reduced which lead to fail.
