Brown Bag Donations Full
Thanks to all who have donated brown bags! We have a good supply for many months now
and extras are no longer needed.
New Council President Congratulations to the newly elected
President, Simon Hayward, who will serve for the next three years. Many thanks to our out-going President, Carlos Lozano, for his years of
faithful service and dedication!
We would like to extend a big Thank You to Cheryl Rebottaro for donating the safety screen for our cantors to use so that we can continue to be lead by song in a safe way during Mass!
Another Thank You goes out to all who donated over the past two weekends to the USCCB Special Collection for those affected by the California Wildfires & Hurricane Laura. With your generosity, we collected just over $2,000 here at San Agustin to help support all those in need of recovery assistance at this time.
We, the San Agustín Catholic Community in the Diocese of Monterey, united by our baptism and through the Gospels, seek to deepen our union with Jesus and grow as a faith community. We seek to enrich our heritage of care and concern for all, especially for those in need, by being instruments of God’s love and healing to the world around us. We foster a strong communi-ty atmosphere where individuals can share the Christian life with one anoth-er. We encourage our entire Church community to reach out to others as members of the body of Christ. Guided by the Holy Spirit and united in prayer, we pledge ourselves to pursue this mission by active participa-tion in the liturgical, educational and social ministries of the Church. We recognize that to be effective, these ministries require spiritual, physi-cal and financial resources, and we ac-cept our responsibility.
