COMPUTER
Through the history, there always has been a known piece of
technology called” Computer”, as we people imagine that
this life without computers is sort of impossible as where we
have we arrived in the technology world. 1
THE BEGINNING OF COMPUTERS.
when computers were first visible in our society there was
the two most famous companies in which attracted people's
attention to their products while others were still preparing
their products to be recognized in the market.
WINDOWS COMPUTERS
In 1981, Windows computers have had the first operating
system which was called “MS-DOS”, it was effective but also
there was some difficulties that people had to confront.
2
WINDOWS 1.0
• Consequently, they had to think about a new and effective
way to build new system that can run PC and easier for
many people to understand.
• Four years later, they came up with a new system called
“Windows 1.0” which was the newest version of windows
systems.
• Windows made it easier for computer users to understand
and deal with the system without facing any complicated
obstacles.
APPLE COMPUTERS
Apple corporation had accomplished a successful business
that attracted the people to buy Macintosh computers.
3
MACINTOSH SYSTEM
• Macintosh systems, which most of the time, use Snow Leopard, is
usually intended for professional use.
• These instances include, but are not limited to, music production
(i.e. garageband) and photography (i.e. I-Photo).
• Not only does this system attract professional attention via its
programs, its hardware is much more expensive (on average), than
most PC systems, making them inadvisable for the everyday
computer user.
COMPETITION
Though Apple's system (Macbook Air, Pro, and Mac) may
seem more advanced due to its innovative inventions
(touchpad) and other things of the like, it is not as
compatible as a PC ,due to its source code restriction
policies, widely known as a “closed system”. That being
said, a PC, which usually runs a Windows operating system
is much more accommodating to third party hardware,
making it an excellent choice for users who want to gain
maximum productivity out of their systems.
SAFETY FIRST
Due to the fact that Apple's system does have restriction
that can make the “code” of the computer unreachable is
because they want to make their inventions only on their
devices, unlike the Windows computer which can run many
various programs and apps. In this case, Apple products will
have the availability to be more secured at all times.
PRICES
Apple's devices and computer are expensive comparing to
other notebooks corporations, it is because they use
different parts. For example, they use a piece of aluminum
and laser cut it to fit the size of the notebook, then attach
all the parts inside that single block. Consequently, this is
an expensive process in all aspects, but results in higher
build quality that satisfy Apple's customers when buying a
$1200-1700 computer.
HOW DID WINDOWS BECOME HUGE COMPANY?
Through the years we can hand it to Microsoft teaching the
public the computer language due to the monopoly that
Microsoft had on personal computers, so they were the only
personal computer dealers on market, and that what gave
them the advantage to be that huge company bake in the
19s.
CONCLUSION
People nowadays think about all these kind of things as
marketing and it involves comparison and competition as
well. In other words, because Apple has put more efforts to
build the computer, many people will stand by the idea that
since it's “new” and “fresh” it should be better. Thus,
windows computer can be bought by the average person
and also with more than ten options since the windows can
run on device except the Macintosh.
