How much is beauty worth? What will people pay for an air guitar on eBay? Can I have a glass of milk?
These urgent questions, and others, are answeredin The Price of Everything, a performance lectureabout value. Daniel Bye's whistle-stop tour ofbizarre facts and impassioned arguments isoccasionally shambolic and often tendentious – but always a joy to watch.
Comic, provocative, and possibly a tiny bit sad, this show is a must if you've ever wondered aboutthe difference between the price of an object andits value.
And you get a free glass of milk.

Barnsley artist Fiona Stephenson specialises in hand-painted oil oncanvas reproductions of Gil Elvgren – the best pin-up artist in thehistory of American illustration.
This saucy selection of artwork provides a nostalgic visit to theglamour of the American 40’s, 50’s and 60’s pin-up era. As thetrademark story goes, the women are sexy but not sleazy, and oftenfind themselves in very comic situations. The effect, however, shouldbe joyful as there's little room for modern cynicism in pin-up art.

Inspired by Dave’s fascination with the vagaries ofthe English language, this hilarious new showexamines many of life’s situations where wordsreally don’t come easy.
These include tongue-tied parents explaining thefacts of life, ridiculous newspaper stories, rubbishschool trips, magazine poems, adolescent chat-uplines, TV news speak and an extended selection ofsong lyrics that range from the lazy, through surreal,to the ridiculous.
Throw in a ‘Champion the Wonder Horse’ sing-a-long, a wildly eccentric granny, and a sausage andbean bake and you have all the ingredients for arich and spicy comedy casserole – or as Davewould describe it, “a sort of Lexicon-carne... sorry!”
