THE STORY SO FAR…In the separatist zero-footprint Carbon FallsCollective in rural Montana, a community reelsfrom the death of their leader, “Rennie” Robertson. His son Huxley, now thrust into aleadership role that not everyone embraces,wants to keep pushing the town further towardfull sustainability, lest the government cast aneye their way. Some of the old hard-liners intown, led by Randy Roy Grist, prefer their former militia status and see red over the ideaof going green. But all of this community strifehad to take a backseat when an alien craft appeared overhead in the woods outside of town.

The aliens’ tractor beam somehow reanimateda corpse at the cemetery and pulled it aboardtheir ship, and the resulting zombie attackcaused them to crash down outside of town.As Hux and other townsfolk explore the crashsite, aliens escaped the ship, chased by thezombie, who manages to sink his desiccatedteeth into one of the humans, before taking apitchfork to the chest. It’s only then that Huxand company see that their dead friend iscoming back to life, and his attacker is not onlystill moving, but is someone they recognize…and buried a while back.

And now it’s two days later. As zombie plaguesare known to do, this one has spread.
