    The Concise Navi Dictionary v. 11.461

    Compiled by Taronyu (Richard Littauer)www.LearnNavi.org

    Last updated: November 18th, 2010

    This is a Navi Dictionary, without derivations to help searching. Thank Tuiq for allowing itto be. Bold indicates Navi word. Italics indicate English definition. Plain text indicates gram-matical categorisation: parentheses indicate further notes. I have included mid-dots in the IPAto mark where infixes are to be placed, where tpre-first1ar2on are the positions. Proper

    nouns have been capitalised. Knowledge of lenition processes, including vowel reduction andellision, will be assumed. Note also that allomorphs, where specified, are subject only to per-sonal preference.

    Abbreviations:

    = morpheme boundary+ = leniting morpheme boundary = infix morphemeadj. = adjectiveadp. = adposition

    adv. = adverbconj. = conjunctionc.w. = compound worddem. = demonstrativeintj. = interjection

    inter. = interrogativen. = nounnum. = numberpart. = particlepn. = pronoun

    prop. n. = proper nounv. = verbsvin. = stative intransitive verbvtr. = transitive verbvin. = intransitive verb

    Sources

    I have sourced every word as best as I could. This sourcing is placed in a subscript after the IPAtranscription, and tells where I, or the source from which I received a word, initially got theirword from Frommer. In early March, Frommer sent us a list of words which he had: these are

    the definitive source now, and not the ASG. Some words are not present in that list, but havebeen confirmed by Frommer if they are here. Words that are modified by unproductive affixesare included here if Frommer has used them: words that have a modified semantic meaningdue to a productive affix have also been included likewise. In order of canonicity, from mostto least:

    PF = Paul Frommer

    M = The Movie

    JC = James Cameron

    G = the Avatar Games

    ASG = The Survival Guide

    E The Changelog

    This is the changelog. Ive kept it in, not for translators, who should contact Tuiq, but for thereader, who would presumably like to know what Ive done.

    11.461 Added initial entry for sno, sney - help on it would be nice, if you have sug-gestions. Marked a, tsn as sbd., or subordinators. Decided not to divide conj. into sbd.and coordinators, as it confused me, and would likely confuse you too. Fixed layompin.

    Syllabificaiton oflefkrr. Edited -ve, -e, -an. Edited them again. Edited omum. ChangedIllegal words to Non-Frommerian words. Syllabified infixes. Added ktee si serve.
