people who have left us down by not supporting the church but we would rather see them as Kingdom guests

While we hope to see some of these people return to our churches after the first of the year in reality many of the

visitors we get over the Christmas season are people who are home visiting family For many of these it is a duty or

perhaps sentimental value for them to attend church with mom and dad or even with grandma We donrsquot know their

story but many of them are not involved in a church in the communities where they are transplanted for employment

Perhaps this is the year we can do something about that Letrsquos welcome these visitors not as people who ldquoshould be

here the rest of the yearrdquo but as people who are truly our welcome guests May they experience something in our little

churches that will create space in their hearts for the new born child to enter in and become King of their lives Letrsquos

give away ourselves by being Kingdom thinkers this Christmas season

May you have a blessed Advent and a very Merry Christmas
