Audrey Miller

Audrey Miller is an American Interior and Industrial Designer and Artist who specializes in Concept ualization. She seeks inspira-tion from the Sciences, the Ancient Arts and Poetry. Audrey has enjoyed 15 years of experience in the design field including 3 years which were dedicated to researching Ancient Ornamentation in the Middle East.

Her passion is Islamic Art and as a Muslim convert since May 1998 it has been her dream to have the opportunity to design Mosques, Religious Centres, and to evolve the definition of “ Islamic Design.”

Her inspiration for The Contemporary Mosque collection by Audrey Miller was drawn from the geometries found within all things. Implementing her Modern style using Eastern elements, she both challenges and enhances how the Muslim prayer area can be defined.

about The Contemporary mosque CollectionThis carpet collection has been especially designed to enhance the atmosphere of the mosque. The collection presents a pallet of patterns in 16 standard designs all in 4 colour combinations each offering a comfortable foundation supplementing the aesthetic beauty of the mosque.

The collection is made in ege’s standard palettes making recolouration possible. The Contemporary Mosque Collec-tion contains a number of modern and contemporary mosque designs. Some designs with borders indicating where to pray and others like our normal repeatable designs.

It is possible to customize the rolls to match the prayer direction (Qibla).

A uni coloured carpet can be ordered separately as outfill, if the roll does not fit the size of the room.
