You have freedom in the Daniel Fast to modify it according to your personal, physical and spiritual needs. You can modify these instructions as you feel led by the Lord. If you feel that it would be more productive for you spiritually or physically to avoid certain foods or spices, then modify your fast as the Lord leads you. If you feel led by the Lord to eat only vegetables and drink only water, then do so!

The main thing is to decide ahead of time how you are going to apply the Daniel Fast, then stick to your commitment for the length of time you have decided to fast.

Some people feel that it is good to make a permanent lifestyle change to the Daniel Fast. Daniel didn’t do his “fast” for a limited amount of time, it was his lifestyle. Daniel asked for permission to avoid the king’s delicacies over a ten day period. Then, if he was still healthy looking, he could continue his “diet.”

Daniel’s reason for his “diet” is given in Daniel 1:8 (MSG), “But Daniel determined that he would not defile himself by eating the king’s food or drinking his wine, so he asked the head of the palace staff to exempt him from the royal diet.”

With everything happening in our world, there is plenty to worry about. From the very basics, such as how we provide for our families amidst shutdowns and pandemics, to the more comprehensive issues, like how to love our neighbors when we feel so divided as a nation. However, God knows what we need. Our main responsibility is to seek Him and follow His commands, and He will take care of the rest. Set aside these 21 days to seek God’s Kingdom first concerning His will and His plans for your life this year.

Scriptures & Confessions: 2 Corinthians 9:8 And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. Confession: I will focus on obeying God, and I know that He will provide for me.

Philippians 4:6-7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Confession: I know that I do not have to worry, because God is giving me peace and providing for my needs.

Psalm 23:1 The Lord is my shepherd; I have everything I need. Confession: I know that God provides everything I need like a shepherd tending to his sheep.

Prayer: Lord, thank You for always meeting all of my needs. I am so thankful that I don’t have to worry, because I know that You are taking care of me. Help me to focus on listening to Your voice and following Your commands.

Day 2Jesus said, love God.

The most important commandment is this: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul

When Jesus walked this earth, He was questioned about which was the greatest commandment. His answer was that all of the law and everything that the prophets said were contained within this: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength.” If we truly love God, we will be intentional about obeying His commandments. Our love and obedience to God cultivates holiness and love for our neighbors.

Scriptures & Confessions: 1 John 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not burdensome. Confession: I will demonstrate my love for God by following His commandments.

1 John 4:19 We love Him, because He first loved us. Confession: I love God, because He first showed me what real love is all about.

John 14:23 Jesus answered him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My Word, and my Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.” Confession: I will make my heart a home for God by showing my love for Him.

Prayer: Lord, I thank You that You showed me how much You loved me by sacrificing Your Son for me. Help me to love You more deeply, with everything in me, for the rest of my days.

Day 3Jesus said, you must be born again.

I tell you the truth, no one can enter the Kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, “You must be born again.”

John 3:5-7 NIV

Jesus made one thing very clear: we must all be born again in order to enter the Kingdom of God. This means that we must surrender our lives and our spirits to Him, and He will make us new and whole. When we make the decision to be born again, we are literally born into a new Kingdom that doesn’t operate under the superficial standards of the world, but under the supernatural grace and compassion of our Heavenly Father. We become children of God and a part of His family.

Scriptures & Confessions: Romans 3:23-24 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by His grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. Confession: I know that I’ve been redeemed and made new through Christ Jesus.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. Confession: I believe that Jesus died for my sins so that I could have eternal life with Him.

John 14:6 Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” Confession: I know that it is only through Jesus that I am made whole.

Prayer: Lord, I am so thankful for the sacrifice You made on the cross on my behalf. Because of that sacrifice, I am able to be born again and have eternal life with You in Heaven. I accept this precious gift and I am thankful that You have made me new.

Day 4Jesus said, repent.

The hallmark of a believer’s walk with Christ is their ability to recognize and repent of their sins. Repentance is an intentional changing of one’s mind, which results in a change of one’s action. You can’t change your actions without changing how you think first. Repentance bypasses the feelings of guilt and remorse, because once those feelings go away, we tend to return to the same patterns of sin that we fell into in the first place. Repentance is literally a 180 degree turn away from the sinful lifestyle that you were living and making steps in the direction of God’s will for your life.

Scriptures & Confessions: 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. Confession: I repent of my wrongdoings, knowing that God is faithful and will forgive me.

Revelation 3:19 Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent. Confession: I know that when the Lord rebukes me, it is because He loves me and wants to make me more like Him.

Proverbs 1:23 Repent at my rebuke! Then I will pour out My thoughts to you, I will make known to you My teachings. Confession: I repent of all my sins and I know that God will forgive me and reveal more of Himself to me.

Prayer: Lord, I know that it is only through You that I can be made righteous. I choose to repent and turn away from any sin that is hindering me from fully living for You. Help me to continue to walk in the direction of Your purpose for my life.

God sent His only son to earth to serve all mankind, not only through His death, but through His life as well. People were drawn to Jesus because of the truth that He spoke and the love that He showed, but also because of the servant’s heart that He demonstrated. In the same way, we are all called to serve others. The mission of Christianity is not to rule over others or to serve ourselves, but to love and serve our neighbors. The way we model Jesus to those around us is by serving them with humility and sincerity.

Scriptures & Confessions: 1 Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. Confession: I will serve wholeheartedly, because I know that my service to God is purposeful.

Romans 12:11 Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.Confession: My spirit rejoices when I serve God with passion.

The second most important commandment is this: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”

Who do you consider to be your neighbor? Obviously, the people who live next door to you are your neighbors. But when God says ‘love your neighbor,’ He means anyone you encounter on your life’s journey. God says that we are to love our neighbors in the same way that we love ourselves, even if that neighbor votes differently than you, looks differently than you, lives a different lifestyle than you, etc. By loving our neighbors unconditionally, we show them what it means to be loved by God too.

Scriptures & Confessions: John 13:34-35 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another. Confession: I will follow the command to love my neighbor, so that through my love, others may come to know God.

1 Peter 4:8 Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.Confession: Even when it is hard, I will continue to love my neighbor.

John 15:12 My command is this: love each other as I have loved you. Confession: God shows His love for me every day, so I will do the same for my neighbor.

Prayer: Lord, Your love for me is endless and unconditional. Help me to show that kind of love to those around me. It’s not always easy, but I know You’ve empowered me to love others the way that You love them.

As a follower of Christ, we have to be prepared to properly respond to mistreatment and persecution. The church as a whole has endured a myriad of attacks, both physically and spiritually. When these attacks occur, God arms us with the weapon of love. God commands us to love our enemies, to pray for them and to wish them well. It isn’t easy, but we must remember that even our enemies were also created in the image of God and are therefore loved by Him.

Scriptures & Confessions: Luke 6:27 But I say to you who hear, love your enemies, do good to those who hate you. Confession: Because I listen when God speaks, I will love my enemies, pray for them and be kind to them.

Renowned Christian author and theologian Lewis Smedes once wrote, “To forgive is to set a prisoner free and discover that the prisoner was you.” Unforgiveness acts as a toxin in your body and spirit that can make you physically ill and can prevent you from drawing closer to God. Forgiving the person who hurt you doesn’t exonerate them from the offense, but it does release you from the burden of holding them captive in your heart.

Scriptures & Confessions: Proverbs 17:9 Whoever fosters love covers over an offense, but whoever repeats the matter separates close friends. Confession: I will forgive others, because that is one way for me to demonstrate the love of God to them.

Matthew 18:21-22 Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?” Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.” Confession: I will continue to forgive others no matter how many times they sin against me, because it is what my heavenly Father would do.

Colossians 3:13 Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. Confession: I will forgive others, because even when I didn’t deserve it, God forgave me.

Prayer: Lord, it is hard to let go of the pain that others have caused me. But I know that You forgave me even though I did nothing to deserve it. So with the same measure of forgiveness You have given me, I will forgive those who have hurt me.

Just as it is important to forgive others, it is also important to ask for forgiveness from those whom we have wronged. In Matthew 5:23-24, God conveys a sense of urgency in making amends with those who have a grudge against us. He says it is more important to deal with the wound we have caused in our brother or sister than to give an offering. The offering is still important, but it can wait; the hurt in our brother or sister cannot.

Scriptures & Confessions: Ephesians 4:32 Be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you. Confession: If I have wronged someone, I will go to them for forgiveness in the same way that I go to God for forgiveness.

James 5:16 Confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working. Confession: I will repent of my sins against my brothers and sisters in Christ, so that we may all be healed.

Psalm 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. Confession: I will repent of my wrongdoings to my brothers and sisters in Christ, so that my spirit may be clean before God.

Prayer: Lord, You have shown me how important it is, not only to forgive, but also to repent for the ways I have hurt others. Together we are the Body of Christ, and the only way for the Body to be healed and whole is through repentance and forgiveness. This is why You say it is so important for us to end our disputes and mend our relationships quickly.

As Christians, we know we are supposed to pray. We have all heard the scriptures that say to pray without ceasing. And even in today’s scripture, Jesus doesn’t say “if you pray,” He says “when you pray.” So we know that prayer is important to God. But why? Martin Luther said “to be a Christian without prayer is no more possible than to be alive without breathing.” Prayer isn’t just about reciting a few words that we’ve heard in the past. It connects us to the heart of God. It makes us more like Him. It allows God to reveal His plans to us and it guides us as we follow His will.

Scriptures & Confessions: Psalm 145:18 The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth. Confession: I will pray so that I may draw closer to God.

Jeremiah 33:3 Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know. Confession: I will pray so that God can reveal His plans for me.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. Confession: I will pray no matter the circumstances, because I know that spending time with God is always worth it.

Prayer: Lord, thank You for the gift of prayer. I’m grateful that I can come to You with anything at any time and You hear me. Help me to find ways to incorporate prayer more consistently in my life.

Day 11Jesus said, ask.

If you, imperfect as you are, know how to lovingly take care of your children and give them what’s best, how much more ready is your heavenly Father to give wonderful gifts to those who ask Him?

Matthew 7:11 TPT

God is omniscient, meaning He knows all things at all times. He already knows what we need before we even ask. So, why ask Him for anything if He already knows? The answer is fairly simple. He wants to hear your voice. He is abounding in love. He longs to connect with His child, His creation. Even if He already knows what you’re going to ask for, He still wants you to ask, because through this dialogue, He can connect with you, love on you and reveal more of His nature to you.

Scriptures & Confessions: 1 John 5:14 This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. Confession: I know that God hears me when I ask Him for what I need.

Mark 11:24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. Confession: I know that when I pray to God, He will always provide an answer.

Jeremiah 29:12 Then you will call on Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.Confession: I know that when I pray, God always hears me, because He wants to listen to my heart and connect with me.

Prayer: Lord, thank You for everything that You have provided. You have blessed me so much. I promise to bring You every request and desire, because I know that You not only want to provide for my needs, but You want to develop a deeper relationship with me.

Luke 6:27-28 NLT

In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus expounds on the subject of revenge. He said “You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.’ But I say to you, do not resist the one who is evil. But if anyone slaps you on the right check, turn to him the other also.” He was not suggesting that we all be doormats for those around us who wish us harm. Instead He says that we should love our enemies, because God, our Father, loves them. God is merciful but equally just, and at the end of the day, He will dispense justice the way He sees fit. Our job is to simply trust Him.

Scriptures & Confessions: Proverbs 20:22 Do not say, “I will repay evil;” wait for the Lord, and He will deliver you. Confession: I will let God deal with my enemies, because He is a just God.

1 Peter 3:9 Do not repay evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary, bless, for to this you were called, that you may obtain a blessing. Confession: I will not repay evil for evil, because God has called me to forgive and show love instead.

Leviticus 19:18 You shall not take vengeance or bear grudge against the sons of your own people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord.Confession: I will not seek revenge or hold grudges, because God commands me to love my neighbor.

Prayer: Lord, it can be hard to not seek revenge when others have wronged me. However, I know that You are righteous and just. So I will entrust my enemies to You and show them love the way that You would want me to.

Day 13Jesus said, do not judge.

Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. For you will be treated as you treat others. The standard you use in judging is the standard by which you will be judged.

Matthew 7:1-2 NLT

There is an old saying, “we do not see things as they are, we see them as we are.” What this means is that when we observe others, our own biases and opinions shape how we view them. This is why Jesus had such strong words in Matthew 7 for those who judge others. Jesus said “You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye.” We need to recognize our own shortcomings and rectify our own faults before we judge others.

Scriptures & Confessions: James 4:12 There is only one lawgiver and judge, he who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge your neighbor? Confession: I will not judge others, because God is the only righteous judge.

Romans 14:4 Who are you to pass judgment on the servant of another? It is before his own master that he stands or falls. And he will be upheld, for the Lord is able to make him stand.Confession: I will not judge others, because God is able to make them righteous.

John 8:7 And as they continued to ask him, he stood up and said to them, “Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her.” Confession: I will not judge others, because I too have failed and fallen short of God’s glory.

Prayer: Lord, thank You for Your righteousness and Your willingness to make us righteous. Help me to see others as You see them. Help me to not judge them, but instead to uphold them in prayer. Show me the plank in my own eye, so that I can remove it.

When you fast… Matthew 6:16 NLT

In the Bible, there are many reasons that God’s followers have fasted. Sometimes it was in response to a traumatic event or revelation of sin. Sometimes it was to seek God’s guidance or protection. Jesus himself fasted in order to receive divine direction from His Heavenly Father. We know that when we pray, God hears us. So, fasting does not dictate whether or not our prayers are heard. Fasting changes our mindset in prayer. It forces us to overcome our natural impulses and exercise a new level of discipline over our bodies, it also gives us a deeper sense of urgency in our praying. Fasting and prayer do not change God; they change us.

Scriptures & Confessions: Ezra 8:23 So we fasted and earnestly prayed that our God would take care of us, and He heard our prayer. Confession: When I fast and pray, I know that God hears me.

Joel 1:14 Consecrate a fast; call a solemn assembly. Gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land to the house of the Lord your God and cry out to the Lord. Confession: While I fast, I’ll be dedicated to the process and will use my time to seek God.

1 Corinthians 10:31 So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. Confession: I will fast, not for my own glory, but for the glory of God.

Prayer: Lord, thank You for this time of fasting and prayer. As I finish my second week pf fasting, help me to focus on You and Your will. Teach me more about You this year.

John 13:34-35 NIV

In 1 Corinthians 12, Paul tells us that we are all members of one body, the Body of Christ. We are each made uniquely differently to serve various functions within the Church. Then in Ephesians 5, Paul writes, “For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ does the church, because we are members of his body.” We are commanded to love one another within the Church, because God loves us and because we are all on a mission to serve as the Body of Christ.

Scriptures & Confessions: Romans 12:10, 13 Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor. Contribute to the needs of the saints and seek to show hospitality. Confession: I will show love to my fellow Christians because they are my brothers and sisters in Christ.

Galatians 6:10 So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith. Confession: I will show love to my fellow Christians because this is God’s command to us all.

1 John 4:7-8 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. Confession: I will show love to my fellow Christians because God is love and His love flows through me.

Prayer: Lord, thank You for Your endless love. Help me to show that same love to those around me. Show me how I can demonstrate Your love to my Christian brothers and sisters. Through our love for one another, let others come to know You.

Jesus answered, “If a person [really] loves Me,

In Matthew 7, Jesus tells His disciples that anyone who obeys His teachings is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The floods and winds came, but the house stood firm and intact. Anyone who does not obey His teachings is like the fool who built his house on sand. When the floods and winds came, the house fell and was destroyed. If we don’t keep God’s Word, we will find that when life’s problems come flooding in, we are knocked down and swept away. However, if we are obedient to God’s Word, troubles may come, but we can stand firm and endure them.

Scriptures & Confessions: Psalm 103:20 Bless the Lord, O you His angels, you mighty ones who do His Word, obeying the voice of His Word! Confession: I will obey the Word of God because it is the voice of the Lord.

Luke 11:28 But he said, “Blessed rather are those who hear the Word of the God and keep it!” Confession: I will obey the Word of God because I am blessed through my obedience.

1 John 2:3 And by this we know that we have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments. Confession: I will obey the Word of God, because I am a child of God.

In His Sermon on the Mount, Jesus called His followers a “city on a hill” whose light cannot be hidden. When the city lights are glowing, they can be seen from great distances in every direction. That light carries far into the distance and drives out darkness along the way. When we do good works, it is like that light. It reaches much further than we could possibly imagine, and it brings glory to God, our Father. With our loving actions, people far beyond our reach can come to know Him.

Scriptures & Confessions: Titus 3:14 And let our people learn to devote themselves to good works, so as to help cases of urgent need, and not be unfruitful. Confession: I will be devoted to good works because they are the fruit of my faith.

John 15:8 By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples. Confession: My good works will bring glory to God.

Matthew 7:20 Thus you will recognize them by their fruits. Confession: I will do good works so that others may see that I am a child of God.

Day 18Jesus said, give.

When you give… Matthew 6:2 NLT

God places a great deal of importance on giving. In John 3:16, it says “For God so loved the world that He gave…” And what did He give? He gave us the gift of His Son, Jesus. Giving is not limited to just money, it also includes our time, talents and gifts. Generosity is a byproduct of a heart that values God more than things. Jesus said where we place our treasure reveals what we truly love. Today, pray about what and how you can contribute to the expansion of God’s Kingdom.

Scriptures & Confessions: 2 Corinthians 9:7 Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. Confession: I will be generous because I love to share with others out of the abundance of what God has given me.

Luke 6:38 Give and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you. Confession: I know that when I give, I will receive God’s blessing and provision.

2 Corinthians 9:11 You will be enriched in every way to be generous in every way, which through us will produce thanksgiving to God. Confession: I will graciously give because He has given me enough to generously bless others.

Prayer: Lord, thank You for all that You have given me. Help me to model Your generosity through a lifestyle of intentional giving. My desire is to be a willing vessel to be used by You, so I freely submit my time, talent and treasure to Your will.

In Matthew 9:37-38, Jesus said, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” Jesus said this to His disciples as crowds gathered around Him in every city and village they visited. He saw that people were hungry to know more about God, but He was only one Man. This is why He commissioned His disciples to go, spread far and wide, and preach as they went. Now we are His disciples, and we have the same commission. We are the laborers that the Lord is sending out to reap the harvest.

Scriptures & Confessions: 2 Timothy 4:2 Preach the Word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke and exhort, with complete patience and teaching. Confession: I will be ready at all times to preach the gospel.

Romans 10:14 How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in Him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? Confession: I will preach the gospel so that others may hear and come to know God.

1 Timothy 4:13 Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to exhortation, to teaching. Confession: I will continue to preach the gospel until Jesus returns.

Prayer: Lord, Your gospel brings hope to all mankind. My desire is that my life would be a living testimony of Your goodness and grace. Help me to be ready at all times to tell others about You.

Day 20Jesus said, go and make disciples.

A disciple is more than a convert. It’s someone who has made a profession of faith in Jesus and who seeks to follow His teachings. Our role as Christ followers is to walk alongside new believers on their journey towards discipleship. We are called to show people how to live and be more like Jesus. Paul said, “Follow me as I follow Christ.” Our lives should be an example to others of how to be more like Jesus.

Scriptures & Confessions: Mark 16:15 And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.” Confession: I will live out the gospel message wherever I go and make disciples.

Acts 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth. Confession: The Holy Spirit will enable me to make disciples wherever He sends me.

1 Corinthians 11:1 Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ. Confession: I will model Christ in character and conduct so that others may see that I am His disciple.

Prayer: Lord, thank You for the Holy Spirit, who empowers me to make disciples. I strive to be an imitator of Your life and Your gospel, so that others may come to know You and want to be more like You as well.

Day 21Jesus said, be prepared for His return.

Be ready and dressed. Have your lights burning. Be like men who are waiting for their owner to come home from a wedding supper. When he comes and

knocks on the door, they will open it for him at once. You must be ready also. The Son of Man is coming at a time when you do not think He will come.

Luke 12:35-36,40 NLV

In John 14:3, Jesus says, “And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.” Everything leads up to this moment. The reason why we repent, we forgive, we show love, we give, we fast, we pray and we preach the gospel is all for this. We are making ourselves ready for His return. We are preparing. We are watching. We are spreading the word as fast as we can, so that our neighbors are also ready. We do not know when He will return, but we know that He will, because He always keeps His promises.

Scriptures & Confessions: Matthew 25:13 Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour. Confession: I will always watch and expect His return.

Mark 13:32-33 But concerning that day or that hour, no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Be on guard, keep awake. For you do not know when the time will come. Confession: I will be vigilant and on guard for His return.

Revelation 3:3 Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; hold it fast, and repent. But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what time I will come to you. Confession: I will remember all that God has taught me and prepare my heart and mind for His return.

Prayer: Lord, thank You that You are returning for us, that we may live with You forever in paradise. Help us to remain vigilant and ready at all times. Prepare our hearts and minds for Your return. Let us rejoice in knowing that You are coming soon.
