We need to share the chocolate between six people (Annelise, Beth, Cath, Daisy, Erica and Fiona).

Step 1: There are 6 people and only 4 bars so we can’t give out whole bars. First we must remove the wrappers. So we can share out the tenths.

Step 2: Share them out. We have 30 tenths and 6 people what is 30 ÷ 6 = ? 5, so each person must get 5 tenths

Annelise Beth Cath Daisy Erica Fiona

Each person got 5 tenths. That is 0.5 or half a chocolate bar.
