It’s really cute, it has different col- ored pages that you tear off at the end of the day and on each page is some unusual information, like if you drink one hundred and thirty-five cups of tea the amount of caffine would be lethal. Also, did you know that Monday, the 27th is statistically more unlucky than Friday the 13th? Or and this one is really weird, humans share about 50% of DNA with bananas - huh? Saturday as I was on a Spring cleaning jag, I no- ticed the calendar and tore off the old date pages. I came across one page that had a drawing of George W. Bush holding a pom pom, wearing a skirt and high heels. At the bottom it stated, “Did you know George W. Bush was a male cheerleader? As ev- eryone in Dunlap knows by know, George W. Bush was not my favorite Presi- dent, but to make it sound like there is something girly about being a male cheerleader is absurd and ridiculous. You have to be able to pick up, hoist, throw and catch women that weigh over 100 lbs. I don’t know too many girls or men who can do that. It takes total dedica- tion to daily weight lifting, many push-ups, chin lifts, etc. It’s also dangerous and really hard on the body. A woman’s weight is plenty when you are lifting her, but when she is coming down after she has spun in the air, she can do some major damage if you catch her wrong. So make fun of George W. all you like, but not be- cause he was cheerleader.
