Message from the Headmaster

Dear Parents and Community Members

Currently, we are undertaking preliminary interviews with prospective IB students. A healthy number of

students currently studying in other schools have expressed interest in our IB 6th Form.

Naturally, we have kept all our boys up-to-date with the IB programme. However, I strongly recom-

mend that you book a time to discuss possibilities with us in April and May. This meeting does not com-

mit you to enrolling in our 6th Form. It is an information session only. By meeting families on an indi-

vidual basis, we can discuss initiatives from a more personalized perspective.

Thank you

Michael Chittenden

Headmaster

Functions at College

I am very pleased to advise you that the Archbishop’s Curia has granted permission to St Edward’s to

use the College Chapel for marriage ceremonies. We are, therefore, offering the following for weddings

and other civil functions:

The Chapel Nominal fee of €250

The Chapel + Front Garden for reception for 100 people or less + Parking behind the Chapel

€500 (plus VAT)

The Chapel + Front Garden for reception for over 100 people + Parking behind the Chapel

€1500 (plus VAT)

Customers are at liberty to engage the caterer of their choice.

THANK YOU SEPTA

On behalf of all students and staff who frequent the library, I wish to thank SEPTA for the generous dona-

tion towards the purchase of 28 volumes of the Kullana Kulturali Encyclopedia. Until some time ago the

library boasted having what everyone thought was the entire set of 72 volumes of the said encyclopedia.

(This encyclopedia covers various topics of Maltese History and is frequently used by students for research

into various projects.) Recently PIN publishers announced they were going to publish a further 28 volumes

to make up 100 volumes. At this time of the year most of the library budget would have been exhausted so

I asked SEPTA to kindly intervene. As a result we have now subscribed to the publication and all 28 vol-

umes have already been paid for.

So once more, thank you SEPTA
