NEW CAMPUS For 90 years, Emily Carr faculty, alumni, students and staff have made significant and lasting contributions to the world of art, media and design. This tradition will continue and expand in our new campus at Great Northern Way. Earlier this year, we celebrated breaking ground and the start of construction of our new campus, which will be purpose-built and will provide students, faculty, staff, alumni, life-long

learners and the community with a world-class, state-of-the-art facility for 21st century learning.

The Board of Governors has been actively involved, both collectively and individually, in advocating for and supporting a new campus for Emily Carr. This past year was momentous in the history of the new campus project as Applied Arts Partners was selected as the team that we will work with to design, build, finance and maintain the campus, the Project Agreement was approved, the first renderings and images of the new campus were unveiled and we also broke ground at the new campus.
