TFG’s partner and CXO, Miguel grew up criss-crossing the globe between Spain and Australia before settling in Sri Lanka in 2003 and setting up one of the island’s most prestigious travel companies. On any given day in the office you will find him with the sales team creating new innovative trips to Sri Lanka.

CharlieCo-Founder

Charlie moved to Sri Lanka in 1999 and was swiftly appointed the Country Manager of cricinfo.com. Having fallen for Sri Lanka’s charms, he set up a travel company in the same year. He also owns a sports management busi-ness with his wife and co-owns Teardrop, a Sri Lankan hotel management company.

PraneethChief Financial Officer

Born and raised in Negombo, Praneeth comes from a family of travel financial executives and has worked at TFG since March 2015. After finishing his studies, he received his ACA quali-fication from the Institute of Chartered Accoun-tants Sri Lanka. Praneeth loves retreating to the cool hills of the island’s tea country.

HarshaChief Operations Officer

Having grown up in Dubai and lived in many countries, ranging from Switzerland to Myan-mar, Harsha is now glad to be back home. Harsha’s extensive management experience spans across diverse industries from tea to travel and he is happiest jumping in a plane or car, getting ready to discover a new destination!

DilankeHead of Business Development (Pepper)

Dilanke joined us in 2012, gaining four years’ experience in luxury travel planning and logis-tics before moving to south to work at Leopard Safaris in Yala National Park. He returned to Colombo in late 2016 as Head of Business Development for Pepper. He loves escaping to remote parts of the island, such as Mannar.

SkandhaManager – Marketing

Born in Switzerland, raised in Sri Lanka, educat-ed at the LSE in London and having worked in New York to New Delhi, travelling is a way of life for Skandha. After a stint in investment banking in London, Skandha returned to Sri Lanka to begin a career in tourism. He spends most weekends traversing national parks.

MelodyManager - HR, Admin & Projects

Melody was born and grew up in Colombo and, after completing a PGCP in Management, worked at several different companies before joining our rates team in February 2014, in a role dedicated to supplier relationships. In her spare time, Melody enjoys travelling and doing crafts with her two daughters.

KosalaManager – Operations

We first met Kosala in 2005 when he joined us as an Operations Executive. In 2009, he left and spent eight years gaining valuable experience in the travel industry before returning to TFG as Manager – Logistics in 2017. Kosala is interested in nature and loves visiting Kithulgala and Sinharaja Rainforest.

MevanthaManager – Sales & Market Development- Australia & New ZealandAfter a short teaching stint at his alma mater, Mevantha joined the travel industry in the hope of fulfilling a childhood dream of traveling the world and getting into conservation. Currently on his seventh year in the trade, he is passion-ate about theatre and plays cricket and futsal in his spare time.

Dilhari joined us in 2012 as a senior sales consultant, after having already gained 8 years’ experience in the travel industry working for George Steuarts Travels, and is one of the most experienced members of the team. Dilhari loves travelling and is committed to seeking out new Sri Lanka experiences.

AndreaGlobal Agent Relationship Manager &Manager – Sales – US & CanadaKnown as ‘Awesome Andy’ around the office due to her laidback, friendly nature, Andrea was born and raised in Colombo but spent a few years living in Canada. After a short-lived career in banking, Andy opted instead to pursue her passion for travel and now has several years of sales experience.

TFG white-labelling solution At TFG, we have a firm commitment to white-labelling when working with foreign travel agencies. When we work with agents we stay behind the scenes, invisible to their client on the other side. All documents we produce are completely unbranded, from the information we send at the time of booking, right down to the name board displayed in the vehicle during the tour. Agents also have the option to put their own branding onto the documents and other materials.

Red Dot Tours started as a conversation between two sports journalist in early 2000, in their attempt to bring light to a country that they had come to love through their numerous travels. This was the beginning of a comprehensive travel shop for Sri Lanka holidays, driven by the desire to tell people about one of the best destinations in the world. Our diverse collection of accommodation, independently vetted by us, caters to a variety of tastes and budgets.

Conceptualised in 2004 as a loose association for small luxury hotels, villas and service operators in the island, SriLankaInStyle came to be firmly established as one of the leading DMCs in the country and has been the first Virtuoso On-Site for Sri Lanka. Having been the local partner for some of the world’s top travel specialists and private travel designers, SriLankaInStyle now focuses on bespoke immersive travel for discerning direct clients. We are also proud to have been attending PURE Life Experiences since its inception in 2009.

Pepper is the latest addition to The Fabulous Getaway Group and has a diverse portfolio of exclusive experiences that focus on connecting travellers with Sri Lanka in insightful and authentic ways. YAANA is a comprehensive airline ticketing agency based in Colombo. We arrange inbound journeys to Sri Lanka from a vast number of international locations, as well as outbound flights to all corners of the world, and provide fantastic offers on domestic air travel within Sri Lanka. In addition, we also plan to launch tailor-made holidays to different countries in the near future.

Founded on the basis of tailor-making holidays for larger groups, Instyle Incentives specialises in business travel and tourism for companies, forums and special interest groups who wish to conduct meetings, conferences, incentives and workshops in Sri Lanka. We also manage family events, including weddings. Our experience in organizing unique holidays has been recognized by global organisations including DASSY, Jaguar Land Rover, the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) and, The World cruise ship.

Although Red Dot Tours is now well-known for offering tailor-made holidays to Sri Lanka, when the company began in 2000 it was dedicated solely to designing and operating cricket tours to the island. In 2016, the company decided to separate out sports tours and operate them under a detached, specialised brand – thus Red Dot Sports was born. Red Dot Sports offers cricket tours to Sri Lanka – for both players and spectators – as well as golf breaks and other sports holidays including rugby and football.
