S.O. 523(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by clause(3) OR article 77 of the Constitution, the President hereby makesthe following rules further to amend the Government; of India(Allocation of Business) Rules, 1961, namely :-

1 (1) These rules may be called the Government of India(Allocation of Business) (Two hundred and Forty - eighthAmendment) Rules, 2000.

(2) They shall come into force at once.

2. In the Government of India (Allocation of Business) Rules,1961,

(1) in the First Schedule,-

(A) after the heading "3- Ministry of Civil Aviation(Nagar Vimanan Mantralaya)", the following headingshall be added, namely:-

"3A. Ministry of Coal (Koyala Mantralya)";

(B) the heading "5A. Ministry of Culture, YouthAffair's and Sports (Sanskriti, Yuvak Karyakram aurKhel Mantralaya) and sub-headings " (i)departmentof Culture (Sanskriti Vibhag) and (ii) Departmentof Youth Affairs and Sports (Yuvak Karyakram aurKhel Vibhag) shall be deleted.;

(C) for the heading "20. Ministry of Mines andMinerals (Khan aur Khanij) Mantralaya)" and thesub-headings thereunder, the following headingshall be substituted, namely:-

"20. Ministry of Mines (Khan Mantralaya)";

(D) for the heading "32A. Ministry of Tourism(Paryatan Mantralaya)", the following heading andsub-headings shall be substituted, namely:-
