• Production slowed down• Prices started falling • Countries lowered the value of their currency• Farm products fell about 40%• Share prices started falling rapidly

• Unemployment• Grasshopper plagues• Not good enough state aid• Less production• Lower value of currency• Less money to loan• Wage cuts and less profit• Disease and malnutrition
