Mr. Case's Crapper ?Mr. Case?s crapper? is one of the most interesting items at RMMS. ?The reason Mr. Case chose this hall pass is because it?s the spitt ing image of his personality.? said Sawyer Rasspenson. But Mr. Case countered, ?It?s embarrassing for the students, but funny to me when they wear it in the hall way for all to see.? There is always an embarrassing story to go with a cool hall pass. Almost all of the embarrassing stories where about someone sitt ing on the toilet seat then fall ing off of it. Everyone has their own opinion on why Mr. Case chose this kind of hall pass.

RMMS Archery Winners Brag About There Wins

Is being at school at 6:30 in the morning bad enough? The archery team had to be at school at 6:30 in the morning on Saturday, and 6:00 am if you wanted a practice advantage. What is it about archery that makes it worth this? Well the Grizzly Growl has asked 4 fellow students, and 1 teacher. Addie Davis placed 1st for middle school girls, Sydnee Godfrey placing 4th, and Isaac Zierenberg placing 5th. ?I l ike the focus it takes for archery.? Stating Addie. Sydney Godfrey says ?I l ike how it calms me down, when I?m mad or frustrated.? Adelia Roberts was there too, ?I l ike archery because of its uniqueness.? Isaac claims, ?I think this year?s competit ion was better than last years because last year they messed up the scoring, so I had to give my trophy back?. As did Adelia and Sydnee. Although, Mr. Hill says, ?I

was very proud of my team. They were prepared and had fun.?

High School at 13?Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a high school student? And have a high school schedule? Jack Sheehan says, ?I would rather have it odd and even days, it?s a better system.? The Grizzly Growl agrees. The middle school schedule should be eliminated completely. The high school schedule helps students get ready to prepare for college, harder subjects, and a more developed life. Students have more time for homework, and study time.

On the other hand, Summer Luster thinks that our schedule is f ine as it is. ?We could rely on the honors system. Losing scanned card is too confusing and complicated.? Says Summer. Do you agree? Or do you want to prepare for high school?

"Sweet" Secret Revealed from the School's Candy Store

Do you ever wonder what the Student Government does with the money they earn from the candy store? Cleo Needham guesses, ?I think that they use it for buying more candy.? While Sydney Hiatt says, ?I think it goes to computer repairs and supplies.? The truth is revealed as the Grizzly Growl question Ms. Painter, and she replies with, ?For all of the activit ies and decorations at our school. We pay for gif ts to give to the custodians as well.? Students of RMMS have the Student Government and Ms. Painter to thank for all of the decorations and activit ies.

The Grizzly Growl then asked Needham and Hiatt what they would have wanted the money collected to be used for. Needham replies with, ?I would want the money used for helping people and giving donations.? Hiatt answers, ?If it were me, I would want the money to go towards more books.? These students have given their answers, and both ideas would benefit people! Kaleb Jenson (Student Government) told the Grizzly Growl Staff the variety of candies at the school?s store. Jenson says, ?We have chocolately candy, Skitt les, and many other popular candies.? Come buy some candy from the school?s candy store to help support RMMS gain more activit ies and decorations. The School?s Candy Store can be located at the off ice during lunchtime!

Imagine the Oscars

A night full of A-list actors, fashion, awards, and lives being changed. The Oscars! On February 22, 2015 Neil Patrick Harris hosted the 87th Oscars. 24 awards were given out including Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress, and Achievement in Costume and design. Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance) and The Grand Budapest Hotel both won 4 Oscars, and Whiplash came in right behind them with 3. Other winners included Big Hero 6, the Theory of Everything, and the short, Feast.

Imagine your heart pounding as your name is called, you just won an Oscar! You recite in your head who you want to thank but when you get up there it goes blank, you barely even remember what you did to get it. Lacey McKee said she would thank her parents for being there for her, family for support, her best friend for being awesome, and one of her f irst music teachers for vocal help. Spencer Orton thought that he might win an Oscar for Achievement in Production and Design. Lil ly Stone imagined herself wining one in Best Animated Movie. Now bring yourself back to that scene where you just won, and ask the questions the Grizzly Growl asked these students to yourself . You might actually be in that position one day.

Mr. Lee?s rock club will be performing soon! We interviewed David Brown to see what he thinks about Rock club. He likes rock club because he gets to see his friends and meet new people who have the same interests as him. They have been working on songs by ACDC, Metallica, etc. The rock club will be performing at the next brown bag concert.

Mr. Lee stated that he started rock club because, ?to help the kids be in a band.? When asked if the people in rock club seem happy he said, ?Some kids have dif ferent expectations.? To f inish he

stated that, ?rock club will be performing in the cafeteria on February 27, 2015.?
