The holiday season is here! The Hideout golf Club & Resort is embracing the holiday spirit and has decorated our Lodge festively for the season!
Winter annuals have been planted around the resort to preserve the beautiful Hill Country landscape our guests and owners have come to love and cherish.
The golf course has been overseeded with winter rye to maintain its amazing grounds throughout the winter months.
Now is the most wonderful time to visit the resort! We’ll keep the hot tub running throughout the holiday season, as well as supply chopped wood for firepits around the resort, and inside in our Lodge and Ranch House accommodations.
You won’t want to miss our featured Brunch event on December 22. It’ll be a delicious spread of breakfast favorites, and even Santa will be there himself! Make sure to RSVP on Facebook!

NEWMAN’S NEWSA Letter From Our Developer
To provide and ensure the best playing conditions, all tee boxes and fairways have been over seeded with seasonal ryegrass. This process keeps turfgrass growing throughout the winter months for our members and guest to enjoy.
During the winter months here in Texas, it’s typical for the day to start with low temperatures, only to warm up to ideal golfing weather later in the day. Please note that if temperatures drop below freezing overnight, the golf course will be under a frost delay as the greens will need to warm up before they can be played.
To avoid having to wait for the course to open, we encourage you to call the Pro Shop for updates.

DISH OF THE MONTHFor this festive time of year, we’ve come up with a special menu served daily through the month of December. Stop by The Hideout Grill for our Antelope Burgers served with mango-chipotle ketchup, hearty Smoked and Roasted Chicken or our signature Street Tacos made with brisket and avocado orange Pico.
For the cooler weather we are offering soup every day—guaranteed to warm you up! Look for our delicious Crayfish Gumbo, Loaded Baked Potato and Smoked Chicken Noodle on the menu.
Just in time for the holidays, The Hideout will be featuring a special brunch event, starring Santa! Guests can enjoy cookie decorating, gingerbread building and the most appetizing breakfast spread! The Longhorn Dining Room will be transformed into a winter wonderland, the fireplaces will all be lit, and the smell of hot cider will fill the air!
Towards the end of the month, guests can look forward to a New Year’s Eve Party, featuring a cocktail hour, delectable buffet dinner and irresistible desserts. The evening will end with a champagne salute to the new year!
The roads have been paved, and the sewer and water lines are all completed for Unit 3 of King’s Point Cove. If you’ve been considering a new home in Unit 3, now is the time.
