“CHANGE FOR THE FOUNDATION” Remember - Every Rotarian, Every Year
President Rod’s goal for the Rockaway Rotary Club this year is 100% participation in contributions to the Rotary Foundation Annual Fund. “I encourage all club members to contribute $100 to the Foundation during this year. Our club ranks high among district clubs in total contributions in past years and I hope to continue and increase our dedica-
tion to the work of the Foundation through 100% participation.” To assist members, President Rod has given each member a beehive bank to use to collect spare change during the year to contrib-ute to the Foundation. Return the bank at each monthly Club Assembly and we will count and credit each member for their contribution. In addition to his normal contributions, President Rod will match all “beehive” donations at .25 for each dollar contributed up to $100 per member.
DISTRICT HURRICANE SANDY RELIEF FUND
District 7470 has established a 501c3 account to accept donations for long term restoration and rebuilding efforts following Hurricane Sandy. Write checks to: “The Rotary Foundation - Donor Advised Fund” or “TRF - DAF”. Memo field should say: “Rotary District 7470 Charitable Fund, Acct. #445”. Mail checks to: Avi Tilak, District Governor, Rotary
District 7470, 22 North Ridge Road, Denville, NJ 07834.

Heard Along the Way…
BOWLING NEWS by George Berry
On Thanksgiving Eve, Rockaway bowled against the 2nd place "Bernards Bankers". Our team all put forth a presentable effort with a couple of "star frames" and members almost posted two clean games. In an excit-
ing final game, Rockaway won our only points of the evening with the help of PP Steve's “4 bagger” in the concluding frames of the game. Rockaway won the game by a slim 2 pins despite that one of Bernards'
bowlers bowled his high game (237) for the year. Congratulations to Mike Delgato for his 655 series!
