An active member of the engineering and business community, he also maintains membership with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).

The IEEE Power and Energy Society recently hosted its 2015 General Meeting in Denver, where participants from around the world enjoyed a comprehensive technical program, networking opportunities, and dynamic committee meetings.

Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Featuring the theme, Powering Up the Next Generation, the

five-day conference concentrated on providing new insights and developing solutions to the most pressing issues in today's power industry. Panel sessions and workshops examined industry best practices, covered the latest technical advancements, and explored organizational changes to keep members of the IEEE Power and Energy Society up to date.

During the 2015 General Meeting, participants also attended keynote presentations by experts from such leading organizations as the Electric Power Research Institute and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory. Additionally, the conference accepted more than 975 papers covering matters like energy development, the intelligent grid, and power systems planning.
