Whereas, the land, specifications whereof are given at“Annexure A” to this notification is required for public purpose viz.“Widening of Kalidhar-Bhambla” road by GREF ; and

Whereas, on the basis of an indent placed by Officer Commanding,57 RCC, GREF vide No. 2030/LRD/124/E2 dated 23-04-2005,accordingly a notification under section 4 (1) was issued by Collector,Land Acquisition (ADC), Reasi vide No. Col/LA/ADC/Rsi/15/573-577/

NSQ dated 06-01-2016 for land measuring 20 Kanals-07 Sirsai situatedin Village “Bhagote Khalsa”, Tehsil Pouni, District Reasi ; and

Whereas, the Collector Land Acquisition (ADC), Reasi videNo. Col/LA/ADC/Rsi/15/623-26/NSQ dated 02-02-2016 has reportedthat the notification issued under section 4 (1) of the J&K State LandAcquisition Act by him was served upon the interested persons for filingobjections, if any, to the proposed acquisition but no objection wasreceived from the land owners/interested persons in the prescribed timeperiod as required under sections 5 & 5-A of the Land AcquisitionAct ; and

Whereas, the report furnished by Collector, Land Acquisition(ADC), Reasi vide referred to above, duly endorsed by DistrictCollector (Deputy Commissioner), Reasi vide No. DC/RSI/16-17/106-10/SQ dated 16-04-2016 has been examined and it has been foundthat the land owners did not file any objection to the proposedacquisition ; and

Whereas, the Government is satisfied that the land particularswhereof are mentioned above, is required for public purpose viz.“Widening of “Kalidhar-Bhambla” road by GREF.

Therefore, by superceeding notification/order issued under sections6 & 7 of Land Acquisition Act, Samvat, 1990, by District Collector(Deputy Commissioner), Reasi vide No. DC/Rsi/15-16/2778-81/SQdated 12-02-2016, in pursuance of section 6 of the J&K State LandAcquisition Act, Samvat, 1990, it is declared that land measuring20 Kanals-07 Sirsai situated in Village “Bhagote Khalsa”, Tehsil Pouni,District Reasi, particulars whereof are given at “Annexure A” to thisnotification is required for public purpose viz. “Widening of Kalidhar-Bhambla” road by GREF. Further, the Collector, Land Acquisition(ADC), Reasi is directed under section 7 of the said Act to take orderfor acquisition of the said land after giving prescribed notice to theinterested person(s) as required under the Land Acquisition Act/Rules.

However, the Collector concerned shall be personally responsiblefor identification and proper title verification of all types of land involvedin the case and apportionment of compensation amongst all the intersted

THE JAMMU AND KASHMIR APPROPRIATION(NO. 1) ACT, 2017.

(Act No. I of 2017)[1st February, 2017.]

An Act to authorize Payment and Appropriation of certain sumsfrom and out of the Consolidated Fund of the Jammu and KashmirState for the services of the Financial Year 2016–2017.

Be it enacted by the Jammu and Kashmir State Legislature in

the Sixty-eighth Year of the Republic of India as follows :––

1. Short title.––This Act may be called the Jammu and Kashmir

Appropriation (No. 1) Act, 2017.

2. Issue of ` 769103.68 lakh out of the Consolidated

Fund of the Jammu and Kashmir State for the Financial

Year 2016-17.––From and out of the Consolidated Fund of the Jammu

and Kashmir State, there may be withdrawn sums not exceeding those

specified in Column 5 of the Schedule hereto amounting in the aggregate

to the sum of ̀ 769103.68 lakh (̀ seven thousand six hundred ninety

one crore, three lakh sixty eight thousand only) towards defraying the

several charges which will come in course of payment during

the Financial Year 2016-17 in respect of the services specified in

Column 2 of the said Schedule.

3. Appropriation.––The sums authorized to be withdrawn from

and out of the Consolidated Fund of the Jammu and Kashmir State

by the Act, shall be appropriated for the services and purposes expressed

in the Schedule in relation to the said year.

SRO-05.—In exercise of the powers conferred byclause (b) of sub-section (1) of section 8 of the Jammu and KashmirConsumer Protection Act, 1987 and in supersession of all previousnotifications issued in this behalf, the Government hereby nominate,from the panel furnished by the concerned Selection Committee,the following two persons as members of District Consumer Forum,Leh :––

1. Ms. Smasten Dolma R/o District Leh (Advocate).

2. Ms. Nilza Angmo R/o District Leh (Advocate).

They shall hold office for a term of three years or up to theage of 65 years, whichever be earlier.
