DESCRIPTION
We are excited to announce the launch of a new community classes programme for children and young people. Suitable for ages 6 - 20 years, the seven new classes on offer focus on dance and drama artforms with the majority taking place at J6 Studio our brand performing arts space at Parkside, Coleridge campus. All seven classes on offer will help young people develop a wide range of skills including technique, communication and confidence cumulating in a annual performance at The Junction. Teachers include local dancers Filipa Pereira-Stubbs, Katie Keeble and theatre practitioners Tom Penn and Philippa Hogg. For young people wishing to learn advanced skills our youth dance and drama companies are the perfect place to develop their performance skills. Junction Youth Dance Company is led by Helen Parlor, a professional dancer & choreographer meanwhile Junction Associate Artist and Night Light Theatre Artistic Director Rich Rusk leads our Junction Youth Theatre Company.TRANSCRIPT

Our advanced performance group; a company that strive for
excellence and individuality. Run by Artistic Director Helen
Parlor (Motionhouse), we aim to provide a platform for those
wishing to become professional dancers.

storytelling, improvisation and devising techniques.
Work with a professional Director to create dynamic work and
develop your theatre skills.

Our Juniors learn basic drama techniques, plays games and
have fun.
Fridays | J6 | 6.15-7.30pm | £40 per 10 week termJunction Drama (ages 11-14)
Our weekly classes aim to help young Actors develop their skills
and work towards creating exciting performances.
A showcase will be held at the Junction once a year for all the
