How do you picture God?
When you pray or talk to him what does he look like? Do you see him as the one who created the whole world, holding it is his hands and watching over it?
During these weeks of Advent we see God coming to earth, taking on our human body as the Christ Child. At the season of Lent and Easter we follow God on the cross and Resurrection.
And then He ascends to Heaven completing his mission, dying for our sins and giving us the promise of Heaven. He leads the way for us to enjoy Eternal Life with Him.
God, the Lord Jesus lived with us only some thirty years. The Church remembers and celebrates the great mysteries of His life on earth, namely His Birth, Death, Resurrection and As-cension. For the most part these may be the images we have of God.
However we have the most often prayed prayer, “The Glory Be.” Glory be to the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit As it was in the beginning Is now and will be forever. Amen.
This prayer speaks of giving praise and glory to God, the Fa-ther, the Son and the Holy Spirit forever, no beginning no end-ing. We are led far beyond the thirty years He was with us as a human being.
We reflect on His creating the universe as we try to discover it, the glory of our heavenly skies and all of Mother Earth. Each and every human being from all times is His creation.
He gave us life in His image, to enjoy this world and the ever-lasting happiness of Heaven with our loved ones, the angels and saints.
Just imagine this loving, majestic and powerful God in charge of all that is. At the same time He cares for and loves me as His friend. Could we have a better IMAGE OF GOD?
We are about to celebrate the birth of the Christ Child with an-other Christmas. As I grow year by year in my faith I begin to enjoy the image of God far beyond Bethlehem, the cross and the grave.
I wish all of you a Blessed Advent and Christmas.
Fr. Germain
A BLESSED AND MERRY
CHRISTMAS TO ALL

THE FOURTH OF OUR FOUR PRINCIPLES
All the good works we do are informed by our four core principles:
Patriotism – Members of the Knights of Columbus, be they Americans, Canadians, Mexi-cans, Cubans, Filipinos, Poles, or Dominicans, are patriotic citizens. We are proud of our devotion to God and country, and believe in standing up for both. Whether it’s in public or private, the Knights remind the world that Catholics support their nations and are amongst the greatest citizens.
Think You Are Too Old For Coverage? Maybe Not
You are never too young or too old to consider purchasing life insurance. If you have a financial need for coverage, or will in the future, a permanent life insurance policy can be just the thing you need. When you are young and presumably healthy, coverage will be very inexpensive when compared to purchasing the same policies when you are older. If you’ve put off purchas-
ing coverage, or you realize that you may need additional insurance, the Order may
still be able to help you, even if other companies cannot.
In fact, in 2012, the issue age of our permanent life insurance products was extended
to age 80, and in 2014, the issue age of our term insurance was extended to age
70. Naturally, your health, and whether or not you smoke, will be taken into consideration, so underwriting standards for risk and age apply. But, the extensions are a great blessing for me – and it could be for you too. Now, I can help members that I couldn’t help before. Are you or one of your brother knights or
someone you know one of those members?
Whether you’re 18 or 80, the Knights of Columbus has products that will work for
you and your family. I look forward to discussing coverage with you.
I’m Denny Schommer and you can contact me at 507-276-4172 or

Sev-eral of these project require one week planning and one day to do. Please give some thought to this. Thank You. Dues Notice is being sent out soon, please send in your payment so we do not need to send second notices. Thank You
