The Leprosy Mission (TLM) Ireland, an Irish charity is the oldest branch of The Leprosy Mission International, globally recognised as a world leader in leprosy care, cure, rehabilitation and prevention. Key skills and competencies acquired over a 135 year history as an effective international development agency are applied across a range of other diseases and developmental issues beyond leprosy: all targeted at reducing poverty, stigma, oppression, marginalization, prejudice and injustice and towards the attainment of the Millennium Development Goals. TLM Ireland works closely with its partners to deliver holistic community development aid, emergency and disaster relief.

Partnership is at the heart of TLM’s work. We partner with national governments, local communities, international agencies and other non governmental agencies. Our work is resourced by private and corporate donations and by Irish Aid. Donations to TLM are recognized by The Revenue Commissioners for Section 848A tax relief.
