So many
books …
so little
time.
A Bookworm’s View
Hearing all of the buzz going about Kathryn Stockett’s new novel ‘The Help’ I
decided to read it. I discovered that it is getting such good reviews for a reason!
This book doesn’t go stale once, it just kept getting better as I turned each page. I
just wanted to keep looking into the window of these characters lives, and watch
them interact. It’s hard to believe that the abolition of slavery had taken place a
hundred years earlier, and these southern African American women still had cause
to be afraid to even speak the truth. What a good book, incredibly funny, and very
powerful! -Anonymous P.S. You’ll never look at chocolate pie the same!
This book is also available in large print, audio book & DVD formats.
