DESCRIPTION

When the word of Ya-hwuah comes home to you, whether it come to quicken you to a new life, or to convince you of some truth which you had not recognized before, or had not reduced to practice, do not be amazed and discouraged if you stumble at it, if it awaken doubt and contradiction in your hearts, if you find it hard to believe, and still harder to live by. It is no strange thing which is happening to you, but the common and normal experience of all who believe in Him. The advent of Ya-hwuah in the heart, His coming in power, must resemble His advent into the world, must create a strife between the good and the evil in your nature, must disclose so much that is evil in you as to make you fear goodness to be beyond your reach. How, but by the conviction of sin, can you be made penitent, and driven to lay hold on the salvation which takes away sin? And the oftener Ya-hwuah comes, the nearer He draws to you, the more fully He enters into your life--the deeper will be your conviction of sin, of a tainted and imperfect nature; till, at times, you will fear as if a sword had been thrust it.to your very soul. This, indeed, is what He comes to you for; to separate between the evil and the good, to make you conscious of evils you did not suspect, so conscious that you hate and long to be delivered from them.

Scripture speaks of a secret place where we can simply go, be alone, be protected, pray, and hear from Yahuahshua. Knowing there is such a place is a matter of faith. Going back time and again, that's a matter of building a relationship. You need not have an advanced degree in any subject, need

not have memorized Scripture from beginning to end, but instead be aware the Yâ-hwuah of Y’sra’al has a place for each Jew and Gentile who will open

their minds and hearts to Him.

Mt 6:5-8

When you pray, you shall not be as the role-fakers, for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Most certainly, I tell you, they have received their reward.

But you, when you pray, enter into your inner chamber, and having shut your door, pray to your Father Who is in secret, and your Father Who sees in secret shall reward you openly. In praying, don’t use vain repetitions, as

the Gentiles do; for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Therefore don’t be like them, don't you see that your Father

knows what things you need before you ask Him.

The truth in reality is visited in this secret place AND must be shared by those who will live or else ... they will perish ... in darkness.

It is written

“No one, when he has lit a Lamp, puts it in a cellar or under a basket, but on a stand, that those who come in may see the Light.

If therefore your whole body is full of Light, having no part dark, it shall be wholly full of Light, as when the Lamp with its bright shining gives you

Light.”

The menorah is the only symbol created by Yâhuwshúa`

together. We do this because that is what the Bible does. This opens the window to make more sense of what Scripture tells us!

He was called Gottlieb, a name which has the very beautiful signification, ‘The love of Yâ-hwuah.’ The old man was well worthy of it, for if ever heart was

filled with love to Yâ-hwuah and to all Yâ-hwuah’s creatures it was his. Once when walking I came upon him as he was stooping to pick up a fallen apple.

‘Don’t you weary, Gottlieb,’ I asked, ‘stooping so often, end then lying all alone by the roadside?’ ‘No, no, miss,’ he answered, smiling, and offering me a

Deuteronomy 19: 15

A single piece of evidence will not stand to establish anyone's guilt or to bring punishment for any error that he commits; upon the word of two witnesses, or [better] upon the declaration of three witnesses, shall a matter be confirmed.

Piece of evidence: or "witness". We need witnesses at such a trial because a life is at stake. One fact can always be skewed to mean many things. No

doctrine may be based solely on one verse, for it can easily be taken out of context. It must be something stated at least twice in the Torah or three times

in the prophets; if it is found in the New Covenant (NT) alone, this carries no weight, since it has been tampered with much more often than the Hebrew

Scriptures. If there are not two witnesses in the Torah, we need one from the Torah and two from the prophets that all agree. In a more difficult case, or when the competence or motivation of the witnesses is suspect, three are

required. Error: or lapse (Hirsch). Do not believe gossip if it is spread only by one person.

By the witness of two is a thing established

The story of Shim`ówn and Channâ´h

Shim`ówn a prophet from the land of Yahuwdah, and Channâ´h a prophetess from the land of Zebulon (Galilee) or northern Y’sra’al.

In separate incidents,

These two people at the temple recognized Yâhuwshúa` as the promised Mâshíyach. The first was a man named Shim`ówn . Unlike most Jews, Shim`ówn

had the Raukhual insight to understand the sort of person the Mâshíyach would be. He acknowledged that Yâhuwshúa` was the promised Mâshíyach,

and that he would bring glory to Y’sra’al and salvation to the Gowyím

Luwqá’ 2:25.

And look! There was a man in Yruwshâláim whose name was Shim`ówn; and this one was righteous and devout, waiting for the Consolation of Y’sra’al, and

the Raukh of the Pure One was on him.

The tribe of Shim`ówn (shemah) was allocated land in the center of

Yahuwdah’s land allotment. Shim`ówn is from the Hebrew root word

"shemah,"

meaning to listen intelligently, and attentively. In other words,

"be attentive Yahuwdah , hear what is being said!"

Luwqá’ 2:26.

And it had been revealed to him by the Raukh of the Pure One that he should not see death before he might see the Anointed One of Yâ-hwuah.

Luwqá’ 2:27.

And he came within the Raukh into the temple, and when the parents brought in the infant Yâhuwshúa` that they might do about Him according to

what had become customary by the Law,

And when the days for their cleansing were fulfilled according to the Law of Moshéh, they brought Him into Yruwshâláim to present Him to Yâ-hwuah,

According to what has been written within the Law of Yâ-hwuah:

“Qadésh (Dedicated) to Me is every one of the firstborn males: the firstling of every womb among the sons of Y’sra’al, whether by ’Âthâ´m or in the animal,

he is for Me.”

Days of purification

And when the days of her purification according to the law of Moses were (As it is written in the law of Ya-hwuah, Every male that openeth the womb shall be called Sacred to Yâ-hwuah ;) And to offer a sacrifice according to that which is said in the law of Yâ-hwuah, A pair of turtledoves, or two young pigeons. And,

behold, there was a man in Yruwshâláim, whose name was Shim`ówn ;

and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation (relief) of Y’sra’al: and the Raukh HaQodesh was upon him.[Again, be attentive all just and devout men of Yahuwdah and you will be consoled!]And it was revealed

unto him by the Raukh HaQodesh, that he should not see death, before he had seen Yâ-hwuah’s Mâshíyach..

And he came by the Raukh into the temple:

[Hear! and then be moved to action by the Raukh HaQodesh] and when the parents brought in the child Yâhuwshúa` , to do for him after the custom of the

law, Then took he him up in his arms, and blessed Ya-hwuah, and said,

Master, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word:

For mine eyes have seen thy salvation,

[Shim`ówn of Yahuwdah heard, then saw with his own eyes, and then touched his salvation.

The living Mâshíyach of Yâ-hwuah!

This is the official witness from Yahuwdah.]

Having praised Yâ-hwuah for the coming of Yâhuwshúa`, Shim`ówn turned to address Miriam. He saw that one day Yâhuwshúa` would create a division among the Y’sra’ali people. Many would reject him and so fall under Yâ-

hwuah’s punishment, but others would receive him and so rise to salvation.

People’s opposition to Yâhuwshúa` would show up the sinfulness of their hearts, and at the same time bring pain and sorrow to the heart of his mother

And Yâhuwçë´ph and His mother were marveling at the things that were spoken about Him. And Shim`ówn blessed them, but said to Miryâ´m His

mother:“ Look!

This One is given over for a downfall

Yshá`Yâhuw 8: 14

And He will be for a place for asylum, but for a striking Stone and for an obstacle Rock that makes them fall, for both of the houses of Y’sra’al, for a trap

and for a snare to Yruwshâláim inhabitants:

asylum:

a set-apart place.

The teachings inherent in the Temple are the "snare" that Ya-hwuah promised to use to regather the Northern Kingdom and recapture our hearts

Y'hezq'el/Ezk. 43

It corresponds with Yâhuwshúa`, , our sanctuary, who is indeed described as "a stumbling-stone"

But as a striking Stone and as an obstacle Rock

that makes them fall, for both of the houses of Yisrâ’Ë´l, for a trap and for a snare to Yruwshâláim inhabitants: And of them, the Many will stumble and

they will fall and they will be broken and they will be ensnared and they will be captured;”

Romans 9: 33

According as it has been written,“…Here I am, to lay in Tsiyyówn a Stone, [a tested Stone, a valued Cornerstone for a sure Foundation;

Because of this, my Sovereign Yâ-hwuah says, “Here I am, to lay in Tsiyyówn a Stone, a proven Stone, a valued Cornerstone for a sure Foundation; the one

trusting in It shall not be disappointed .”

The Aramaic targum says this "stone" is a "great, mighty, and terrifying king. Compare "The stone that the builders rejected has become the chief

cornerstone" (Tehillim. 118). It is the Messiah. Act hastily: Aramaic, "be shaken when distress comes".

“[But you shall consider Yâ-hwuah the Anointed pure, and He is your fear and He is your dread: And He will be for a place for asylum; but for] a striking Stone

and for an obstacle Rock that makes them fall…”

Yshá`Yâhuw 8: 15.

And of them, the Many will stumble and they will fall and they will be broken and they will be ensnared and they will be captured; and the resurrection of

the many within Y’sra’al, and for a sign being contradicted .

Yshá`Yâhuw 7: 14

Therefore, my Sovereign will give Himself over to you [plural: house of Dâwíth and Yâhuwthâ´h] for a sign

Young woman: of marriageable age, in the broadest sense of the term. It probably has an immediate point of reference to a particular young woman

present to Yeshayahu and the king (especially in context of v. 16, perhaps even a betrothed of the king himself, who was quite young. But how would that be

an unmistakable sign of something contrary to Achaz's expectations? What would be so special or miraculous about a young woman conceiving a son? The term is translated by the LXX (some 200 years prior to the birth of Yâhuwshúa`,

and thus long before the controversy about the virgin birth) as parthenos, a term contrasted in 1 Cor. 7:28 with a married woman, hence, a virgin. Thus,

perhaps there was even a virgin birth at the time of Achaz, because how would an event 700 years later serve as a sign to Achaz? The other signs Yâhuwshúa`, did had been done before by prophets, even raising the dead. Ecclesiastes says

that "what has happened once will happen again." But prophecies usually have a two-pronged reference: a partial fulfillment in the prophet's own day, and a fuller one relating to the Messiah, which includes the same elements as the prior fulfillment, but more. Also, Matithyahu (1:23) takes the prophecy as relating to a virgin birth, as it is explicitly stated that Yoseyf did not have

relations with Miryam until after Yâhuwshúa`, was born (1:25; cf. Luk. 1:27). He did not take this verse out of context, for the preservation of the royal

Davidic line is also Matithyahu theme. Immanu-El means "El [is] with us". This was meant to comfort the king, and is repeated in 8:10. Avi Ben Mordechai reports that Al is a name sometimes correlated with Yâ-hwuah’s attribute of

mercy or lovingkindness, and this is the aspect of His nature that He incarnated in Yâhuwshúa`, 's first coming. (In contrast, for example, Elohim is a name that

emphasizes Yâ-hwuah’s judgment.) Yâhuwshúa`, indeed said that whoever saw Him had seen the Father (Yochanan 14:9), though of course, no one has ever seen the Father Himself. (Yochanan 1:18; 6:46) So the entirety of Ya-hwuah

was not present when Yâhuwshúa`, walked the earth. Indeed, He drew some clear distinctions between himself and the Father (e.g., Yochanan 14:28),

probably to counter the deductions that would one day be made about his deity when the Gospels and Paul were interpreted through Gentile grids.

Everything he did perfectly communicated exactly what the Father was like; if the Father Himself were to become visible, no one could have survived the intensity of His presence. So He sent us a Mediator, fleshing out His Word,

which is Himself in a way, yet is a separate entity.

Nikódemos 16: 2

And on the shabbâ´th the teachers and the priests and Lwiyyím sat and questioned one another and said: What is this sign that is come upon us in

Yruwshâláim? For we know Yâhuwshúa`’s father and His mother.”

Look!

The virgin of Y’sra’al is pregnant and is bearing a Son, and she will call His name

Even of you [Miryâ´m] also, a sword shall pierce through yourself, so that the reasoning’s of many hearts may be disclosed.”

Shim`ówn now had the peace of seeing Yâ-hwuah’s promise fulfilled in his life.

And there was one Channâ´h ,

The other faithful Y’sra’ali who saw Yâhuwshúa` and his parents in the temple was an elderly woman named Channâ´h. In some ways her life had been lonely,

but she had never grown bitter. She sacrificed time and personal comforts so that she could devote herself to worship and prayer. Throughout her long life she never stopped believing that salvation would come through the promised Mâshíyach. On seeing Yâhuwshúa` she knew that this was the one for whom

she had waited

Luwqá’ 2:36

Also Channâ´h was there, a female predicator, the daughter of Pnuw’al from the tribe of ’Asher: she was advanced by many days, having lived with a

husband seven years from her virginity,

Luwqá’ 2:37.

And she was a widow for about eighty-four years who did not depart from the temple, serving night and day with fasting and prayers;

Luwqá’ 2:38.

And she, coming up at the same hour, in turn gave praise to Yâ-hwuah, and spoke about Him to all those in Yruwshâláim waiting for the ransoming.

Channâ´h in the Hebrew and means "favored."] a prophetess, the daughter of Phanual[Phanual means, I've seen the face of Aluah the Mighty One.] of the

tribe of Asher:

Asher is in Galilee.

This is the second witness needed to establish the truth of a matter. This one comes from the former northern kingdom of Y’sra’al

she was of a great age,

[This means she "came out of" a Great Era.

The Greek primary preposition being used to denote time and place of origin. In this case it means the recent past. The term "a great age" is not a reference

to Channâ´h 's personal age.

Luwqá’ gives us her personal age two sentences later

and had lived with an husband seven years from her virginity (maidenhood);

[Maidenhood, or parthenia in the Greek, refers to someone who has remained unmarried a considerable amount of time past her marriageable age. I suggest this term could apply to a woman who has been divorced, and then remained

unmarried for 20 or more years before getting remarried]

And she was a widow of about fourscore and four years,

[This means she was an 84 year old widow, and not that she was a widow for 84 years]

Which departed not from the temple, but served Ya-hwuah with fasting and prayers night and day. And she coming in that instant gave thanks likewise unto

Ya-hwuah, and spake of him to all them that looked for redemption in Yruwshâláim.

And when Yâhuwçë´ph and Miryâ´m had completed all things according to the Law of Yâ-hwuah, they returned unto Gâlíyl, unto their city, Netsârówth.

Shim`ówn and Channâ´h were symbols that represent the two Houses of Ysra’al. Shim`ówn represents the House of Yahuwdah who has now heard and seen the promised Mâshíyach Ya-hwuah. Channâ´h represents the House of

Yosef(in Galilee) who has now seen the face of Ya-hwuah Mâshíyach. This is the testimony of two witnesses, who symbolize (no doubt) the thousands that

heard and saw the powerful testimony of

Yâhuwshúa` Mâshíyach Yâ-hwuah

“Tis Yâhuwshúa `the first and the last, Whose Raukh shall guide me safe home .I’ll praise Him for all that is past, And trust Him for what is to come.”

the Ruwach HaQodesh, of which he is not the master, but the dispenser. He who preaches to get a living, or make a fortune, is guilty of the most infamous

sacrilege
