Once upon a time,

there was a big house

called Grace Support

Shelter. It is late atnight and everyone is

sleeping.

The house has two

floors Sister Nancy, a

middle aged woman

with blue eyes, is the

caretaker of the

house. She sleeps in the room on the ground floor. The boys sleep in

the first floor and the girls sleep in the second floor. All the children

are sound asleep. The moon and the stars were shining brightly in the

sky.

Terminator, the robot is a brownish coloured box,

steel mechanical man who is the guard of the house.Aunty Sharon sent the robot from America to Sister

Nancy. Shaggy, a golden spaniel is barking loudly at the

robot.

In the morning, the sun came

up and the bird started chirping.

Everyone woke with the clap of

the robot. The children alongwith Sister Nancy brushed and

had a shower. They ate their

breakfast and prayed. They got

ready to go to school at 8:45.

They walked to their school.

At 9 o clock the children

reached the school. First

they assembled in the

ground for their prayers.

The children went to the

school building, which is

small but beautiful. It had a

big hall. The childrensettled in their places with

their bags.

Nikki, a handsome boy with

spikes on his head wearing a

red stripes white shirt came

to the teachers table. Nikkistarted playing with the

duster with other children. As

soon as he heard footsteps he

kept the duster back in place

and everybody including Nikki

settled before the teacher had come.

Good Morning, said Sister

Nancy. The children chorused

behind her saying, Good morning

Teacher. The teacher said,

Today I am going to teach you

about magnets. Georgina, anattractive athletic girl said with a

twinkle in her blue eyes,

Teachers, I love you to teach

about them. Nikki said to Andrea, I just escaped from being caught

by Sister Nancy.

Andrea, a short beautiful girl with

short black hair said, She takes good

care of everybody, but you always are

naughty Nikki. Nikki grinned. SisterNancy said, The first magnet was

discovered by a Shepherd called

Magnus He was tending his sheep up in

the mountain His shoe nails got

attracted to a rock. It was a magnet. A

magnet attracts iron filings. A magnet

has two sides North and South. When the same sides of the magnetsare put they repel but when the opposite sides are put to get

attracted it attracts.

After they had finished the period they had a break. They went to

the ground and played. After the break has finished, they went to the

class.

Georgina said to Andrea, Vilas, Nikki and Pooja are silent, why dontwe play a game? Andrea agreed to Georginas advice. They sat

together and played crosses and knots.

Next, Sheila teacher taught the

children Telugu, Hindi and English. They

liked Sheila because she helps, is very

good and kind and clarifies theirdoubts. The school ended by ringing of

the bell. After the bell rang, the

students went to have their lunch.

Good afternoon children, said the

chef. The children also wished him good afternoon. Today I cooked

rice and dal, said chef. The children took the chairs and sat around

the table.

They were discussing about what

happened in the school today.

Georgina said, Nikki played with

duster before Sister Nancy entered

the class. When they were talking to

the chef the robot slowly entered

the kitchen and spilled oil on the

floor so that the chef would slip and

fall down. As the chef entered the

kitchen, the robot came out. But before the chef could reach, the dog

entered, slipped on the floor and started yelping in pain. The chef

understood the robots plan. He cleaned the floor and started doing his

work. Then the robot went to the children and grabbed their plates.

You robot, why are you taking our plates, said Sheila angrily. We willcomplain to the chef about you. As the chef came in, the robot went

away.

After the lunch break, they had some class but the children didnt

want to attend anymore classes. They wanted to sleep because they

had just finished their lunch and felt sleepy. So the teacher told them

to take a nap.

When the children were

asleep, Terminator came in his

invisible power and shook the tables

and benches. The children woke up.Nikki said to Georgina, How did the

benches shake? Georgina

responded to him by saying,There

is no robot down here. They discussed the matter but nobody knew

the truth. They all asked the teacher, How did this happen? I dont

know, I noticed that the robot is not there down, The teacher said.

Shaggy, the dog was barking and all the benches and tables startedshaking.

Children, wake up, the bell is

going to ring, said the teacher.

After the bell rang the school got

over. So they all ran down to play in

the ground, outside the school. Nancyteacher, chef, Pinky teacher and

Kumari teacher led them to play.

They were seeing Nikki and Vilas

play football. So Vilas told Nikki,

You play with me. Nikki took the ball and told Vilas, Come and tackle

with me. So Vilas said, Its cool! Then they both went around kicking

the ball. Nikki kicked so hard that the ball went a little high. Then the

robot came fast and kicked the ball very high. Nobody saw that there

was a robot. They wondered how the ball went so high. Vilas said, I

never saw you kicking the ball so high! Then Nikki ran as fast as his

legs could take him. Nikki kicked the ball and rolled in the sky and fell

down from a great height. His hand

got scrapped but he went on and

didnt stop. He went and made a

goal. Nikki won the game.

Sister Nancy said, Come back,

its time up. After the game Mrs Leela Rani said, Wash your hands

and stand in the line, I will come and serve and you. The children said,

We do not like bitter gourd! and so the chef said, I will give all of

you sweets and ice creams! They ate their dinner silently. After the

dinner ended, they enjoyed their sweets and

ice creams.

They prayed and went to sleep. Some

children did not sleep as they were doing

their home work. Suddenly Georgina and

Nikki heard the dog barking, Bow bow! at

the robot and came out to see what had

happened.

Suddenly, they see that Terminator is trying to kill Shaggy! Shaggy

tried to bite the mechanical man. The robot kicked Shaggy

very hard and Shaggy started limping.

The robot looked fierce. Georgina told to Nikki, He is in a

mad mood. Look at his eyes! They are red

and the robot is having a knife in his hand.

He tried to poke Shaggy with the knife.

Shaggy was trying to escape from being

poked from the mad robot.

Nikki told Georgina, We should act

fast or else he may kill Shaggy.

Georgina told Nikki,Quick, give me the

rope. Come, lets go and tie the robot tothe Tamarind tree. So Georgina and

Nikki took the either ends of the rope

and threw the rope over the robots

neck. By the rope in their hands, they

made a knot and tied the hands of the

robot. They dragged the robot to the Tamarind tree and tied the robot

with the rope to the tree.

The chef took a wooden stick and broke down the robots neck. They

put water from the whole in the robots neck. A fizzing sound came

from the wires inside the robot.

Georgina called Leela Rani, Sister Rani and explained all that had

happened.

After hearing the story, Sister

Nancy was shocked. Georgina said to

them, That day all the accidents were

occurred by the robot. Sister Nancy

called the factory people and sold the

Terminator.

The next morning children woke up and

came down for prayers. They saw

Shaggy bringing the newspaper

clenched between his teeth. Hedropped the newspaper at the door. The

children patted the dog and he started wagging his tail happily.

Leela Rani and Sister Nancy discussed, Who should guard the house?

Sister Nancy said, Lets ask Shaggy to guard the

house. All children jumped with joy.

Then Sister Nancy told Pooja and Sheila, Goand buy some vegetables from the market. When

Pooja and Sheila were walking, Pooja told Sheila,

Did you look behind? Sheila said, Oh yes!

Shaggy is following us. Then she said, Such a

nice dog we have because of Gods grace! Pooja said, Shaggy is more

than a pet dog for us. Sheila said, Oh yes! Yes!

Moral of the story A dog can be your best friend and guard of thehouse.
