The making of my front cover!

Page 2: The making of my front cover

I began with just an image which I cut out using the magic wand tool.

I cut him out and placed him using the drag tool.

I then clicked on Render and set up a lighting effect which I put into the middle of him giving him a spiritual and magical effect.

I then added my masthead onto the page and made it large at the top. I used the transform tool to make it.

I chose black as it looked a lot bolder then green.

I then added several images to the side and put yellow borders around them.

I then added a header at the top of the page. I made it yellow to give it some extra colour onto the page and put a black border to separate it from the rest of the page.

I then added all of the text which I got from a website named Dafont. The font itself was called 28 days later and I copied bits and pasted it in so I could get the jumbled up placement effect on the page. I made sure there was space left on the page, but enough to fill up the big white spaces.

I then added the barcode and a price tag. This is to make the magazine seem professional and official. I chose £2.99 as I thought it was a fair price based on other magazines such as Kerrang which retails at a similar price.
