Wewill behostingour XXIVnational athletic and social event , ourSokol Slet& Festival, inCedarRapids, Iowa,June22-25,2017. Thiseventwilldrawparticipantsandspectatorsfromacross the United States, as well as internationally from the Czech Republic and Canada.Attendees will compete in Artistic Gymnastics, Volleyball, Marching, and Fitness Challenges.TheOpeningCeremonywillhighlightspecialnumberperformancesand,ofcourse, lotsoffunforall!

A very special event will be our banquet which will feature the 1st Annual Sokol AwardsPresentationincludingtheinauguralHallofFameAward.Ourvolunteercommitteemembershavebeendeligentlyplanningtheseeventsandlookforwardtoyourattendanceandsupport.

Physical fitness and mental alertness has been a national concern for many years and theAmericanSokolhasalwaysplacedtotalbodyandmindfitnessasapriorityinourprograming.Ourgymscontinue toaddress theneedsofourmembersand thepublic fromage3 throughadvancedseniorages.
