Over 300 students and church leaders attended the conference and worshiped together

70 workshops were offered by 28 presenters from Indonesia, a retired Indonesian missionary from the Netherlands, and three presenters sent by the Calvin Institute

of Christian Worship.

The platform for the Taize service shown here and the entire conference was designed with a humble thatched-roof village hut with an open window to the large Bible that was carried to the pulpit for each scripture reading. The Batik

shawls represent the various islands, denominations and culture groups in attendance from across Indonesia, the fourth most populous nation in the world.
