Want to know more about Federated? The 101 Class is our basic introduction to Federated and explains what we believe, how we operate, & the history of our church. If you have attended one of our Pizza with the Pastors events we invite you to join us for the 101 Class on Sunday, June 8 @ 11:30pm. A meal is provided so please RSVP on our website or contact the church office.
Becoming a Member: Sunday, June 22
Sunday, June 22, 2:00PM at Federated, we will be celebrating “Showers of Blessings” for the new babies in our fellowship. Join us as we celebrate the joy of parenthood and new birth for Dan & Amanda Schwerdtfeger and daughter, Patricia; Jason & Carrie Noble and son, Caleb; Adam & Shandi King and son, Bristol; Chris & Becca Markwardt and daughter, Nora; Kris & Kelly Robison and son, Kyle; Randy & Kara Groenenboom and son, Landan; Nate & Nicole Van Wyk and daughter, Taitum; Carroll & Elizabeth Hoksbergen and daughter, Caroline. In lieu of gifts, we will receive monetary donations to purchase a gift card for each family. We invite you to honor these moms with a poem, card, special Bible verse or simple words of encouragement. There will be a table in the foyer for you to give your donation and write a note for the mothers. You may also leave your donation and note at the church office. Thanks for joining us in this ministry. If we have inadvertently omitted someone, please call the church office.

We will once again be selling t-shirts as a SWYW Fundraiser.
This year you get to choose from 4 amazing colors and you even get to decide which logo you would like on your shirt. Perfect for mission trips or if you have a group planning a Tip Night so that you have a Federated shirt to wear! New this year are the wave coffee mugs, a simple but unique style. They come in black or cobalt blue.
There will be a display in the foyer on Sunday where you can place your order or go to Federated’s website and click “Share What You Wear” under the events tab.

As we prepare for our trip to Alaska, we need to thank all of those who attended one or more of our tip nights at Pizza Ranch. With your help, we raised approx. two thousand dollars for Victory Ministries. If you were unable to attend and still would like to donate, you can put a check in the offering bucket, make it out to Federated Fellowship and write Victory or Alaska trip in the memo line. All donated funds go directly to Victory to help pay

for supplies for work groups, renovation expenses, and general maintenance. We want the entire church to be a part of this trip, and we thank you for anything you could give. To the right is a list of team members, and the dates they will be going. Please pray for each of us as we prepare to go, as we travel, and as we serve. Also be in prayer for the Ruisch family as they pack up and move back to Pella. They are excited to move back, but they also have made many friends in Alaska, and it will be hard for them to leave. Thank you all so much!

The CHRISTIAN OPPORTUNITY CENTER would like to invite you to participate in its 13th Annual Golf Classic fundraiser Friday, June 20, 2014. The tournament is scheduled for noon at Bos Landen Golf Club. Following the golf event, COC will host a dinner reception (tickets for the dinner reception are included in the golfer fee, but may also be purchased separately) with both silent and live auctions. Peoria Christian School Circle will be hosting a TRACTOR RIDE on Saturday, June 14th. All working tractors are invited to attend and they don’t even need to be repainted! Every color is invited: Red, Green, Yellow, Orange, Blue, Gray, Purple and Pink. Registration will be from 7:30-9:00 a.m., with a continental breakfast served. Tractors will pull out at 9:00 a.m. from the Peoria Christian School located in Peoria, Iowa. Two routes are available: Peoria-Sully-Lynnville-Taintor-Peoria or Peoria-Sully-Lynnville-Searsboro-New Sharon-Peoria. We plan to have bale throwing wagons available for children to ride in on the shorter route with adult supervision. Fees will be $35 per tractor and $10 per each child riding in the wagon. Breakfast will be included in the fee. All normal tractor ride rules will apply. Please contact Lyn Veenstra at [email protected] or 641-637-2773 with any questions.
