The Well Resource Center Job Description: Fundraising Coordinator General Description This position will be responsible for: Developing a fundraising plan for the on-going expenses of The Well. Identify additional revenue streams for the ministry. Work with The Well team to schedule, plan and host fundraising events. Work with church liaisons to help promote The Well and raise funding and awareness at their churches. Oversee the income and expenses at The Well. Assist The Well staff in preparing the annual budget. General Qualifications and Requirements Clearly, the Fundraising Coordinator is a key role at The Well. This individual is responsible for leading a team of individuals responsible for raising the funds necessary to operate The Well. The Fundraising Coordinator must have a high level of interpersonal skills in order to positively interact with a variety of people in all kinds of situations with poise, tact and diplomacy. They should also be able to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity and professionalism. It is important for the Fundraising Coordinator to have a positive attitude and great communication skills to be able to clearly and passionately communicate the purpose, vision and mission of The Well. This position works closely with The Well staff, Church Liaisons, businesses, individuals and foundations throughout the area. Key Areas of Responsibility

Fundraising

The Fundraising Coordinator will be responsible for leading the charge with our fundraising efforts,

recruiting a team to help brainstorm creative ways to raise financial support for the ministry.

This Coordinator will interact with The Well team, Church Liaisons, individuals in the community,

businesses, foundations in the area to build a solid financial base for The Well ministry.

The Fundraising team will work with The Well team to schedule, plan, and host fundraising events.

The Fundraising Coordinator will also have visibility of the actual annual income and expenses at The

Well.

This individual will also assist The Well staff in preparing the annual budget.

The Coordinator will communicate with The Well Staff in order to send notes of thanks and appreciation

to ministry donors.

Help get the word out about The Well. Be able to clearly explain the purpose, vision and mission to

people throughout the community.

Volunteer Recruitment

Actively seek members of your congregation who would be an asset to The Well team.

Referrals

If individuals in difficult situations contact your church for help, direct them to The Well for assistance.

If you know individuals who could benefit from services at The Well, pass along our information.

If you know individuals who would like to provide resources, financial or otherwise to help support The

Well Resource Center, please give them our information and have them contact us directly.

Spiritual Growth and Development

Spend time in prayer for the ministry

Continue to grow in your own personal relationship with Jesus Christ through prayer, meditation, study

and reflection.

Eligibility Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older

Must pass a background check

Previous related experience helpful, but not required

Connections to multiple networks in the community
