Celebrating our
100th Anniversary
in 2015
New Jersey and New York Professional Engineers - The New Jer-sey Water Environment Association (NJWEA) is an approved provider by the New Jersey State Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors and the New York State Board for Engineering and Land Surveying for offering continuing professional competency credits (CPCC) for Professional Engineers that are licensed in those states. The NJWEA believes that several of the courses we offer will meet the respective Board’s requirements for CPCC because of the review process and administrative controls we have that each proposed course must go through before being offered to Professional Engi-neers. These courses include “NJPE” and/or “NYPE” in the course de-scription. However, all issues that may arise on the acceptability of a course will be between the individual and the Board. The Professional Engineer should retain the program book and his/her certificates re-ceived after the completion of the technical sessions issued by the NJWEA. The NJWEA will continue to maintain records of the courses offered and the names of attendees satisfactorily completing the courses.
Attention Professional Engineers
The three year credit cycle for obtaining Continuing Educa-tion Units (CEU’s) also known as Training Contact Hours (TCH’s) will come to an end on September 30, 2015. This means you have one year left to obtain the necessary credits to substantiate the renewal of your water, wastewater, collec-tion system, and industrial treatment licenses. You are now able to obtain the amount of credits you have accrued by us-ing the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection’s website http://www.nj.gov/dep/exams/ and clicking on the
“Dataminer Reports” link at the left of the page.
