The number of active craft distillers in the U.S. grew by 20.8% over the past twelve months to 1,589 as of August, 2017. This is still a small number compared to Germany or Austria, countries with more

than 20,000 distilleries.

Whiskey has been the largest player in the market in recent years and is expected to continue to do so. In terms of sales, the segment accounted for 42.5% of total industry demand in 2016, and the trend

is rising.

independent craft distillery in Atlanta, Georgia. The company is currently investigating serveral production sites for establishing a craft distilling plant in the North of Metro Atlanta.

Our “Whiskey Reinheitsgebot” is setting new standards for the industry. We ensure that no colorings are added to our premium products. Our products are “clean”, produced from grain to bottle on-site.

We do not believe in “enhancing” barrels with additional flavoring until a favorable taste is achieved. Our premium products are all unique and extraordinary, barrel by barrel of the highest quality.

High quality ingredients are the key to produce premium products. This can include the usage of organic grains, special Appalachian water, certain yeast, and of course the best barrels available on the market.

Atlanta Bourbon Distillery will primarily distill bourbon and American whiskeys. Though, we also plan to vary our products seasonally with some incredible recipes for an organic rum, a Georgia gin, as well as seasonal fruit liqueurs and brandys for the local mixology scene.

Franchise Concept

We are seeking to grow globally becoming the craft industry’s first craft franchise company.

We are seeking experienced distillers to start with us at new locations.

We are planning in phase 2 to add a distilling school which will be located in our headquarter in North Atlanta. Our distilling school will be an essential key for training future employees and franchisees in our procedures and quality standards.

C R A F T Investing Strategy

The average investment of a U.S. craft producer has been increasing by almost 14.6% from $276.8k in 2016 to $317.3k in 2017.

Total investment has increased by 49% from $398m in 2016 to $593m in 2017.

On-premise retailers are suggesting producers should invest more resources to attract the consumer, both in terms of tastings, other consumer pull strategies, and branding.

Investments in staff training as well as more frequent market visits are highly recommended.

Overall the focus should be on producing fewer products of higher quality.
