Doug Rugg, President of MMG Imports (parent company of Mobile Mex Media Group, the idea was conceived for THE ORIGINAL BALLBAG after obtaining injuries while riding his bicycle home from a Boys Club as a child. One day when Doug had finished playing basketball with several friends and was on his way home, he lost control of his bike. With his basketball under his arm he was unable

bicycle and still maintain a safe riding path. Consequently, Dougs bicycle steered off-course and into a parked car leaving young Doug

physically injured and emotionally shaken.

The memory of the pain that Doug sustained from his collision stayed with him throughout the years and began to stimulate thoughts of how to carry an inflatable ball safely on a bicycle.

As if a natural progression from the original concept of the backpack, Doug conceived the concept of THE ORIGINAL BALLBAG.
